At Least His Character Is Not Gay

A gay character is coming out of the closet once Gossip Girl comes back on the air later this month.
And, if this teaser poster is any indication, Chace Crawford's character is not strictly dickly.

However, and we're not prudish at all, but…
We think there's something a little bit wrong with such an overtly sexual ad for a show aimed at teenagers.

i don't think it's that wrong…it's realistic. i couldn't name 5 virgins at my highschool off the top of my head.
it's going to be chuck. duhhh. he's been compensating for allllll of season one. he's obviously in love with nate. i know he was kind of into blaire or whatever, but he was just confused. it's so predictable. i'm calling it. right now. chuck is gay.

Well, teenagers are going to be little skanks regardless of any adds on tv, I know of people in my year that have been having sex since they were 13, and they never saw this add, or any other 'raunchy' adds on the television, they were just bored…

My aunt went to school with Chace. My grandma has dance pictures with him and stuff. My aunt was always trying to figure out whether he was gay or not so this should be interesting..

this showw is amazing. this ad is super hot. and there is nothing wrong with showing this to teenagers. i think chace is HOT.

First of all, this ad most likely is real.
When I was at the grocery store last night,
I flipped through the magazine and found the
OTHER ad of Chuck and Blair making out
in the limo; instead it said "OMG" no "F" in there.
Secondly, these ads are all flashbacks from
the show. Nothing new, no spoilers. The End.
P.S. I believe they will be outing Chuck
(if they're going along with the book,
which it seems they are because Georgina
is added onto the TV series as well).
Dan is too in love with Serena at the moment,
Nate is barely over Blair, (they just broke up!),
and I'm not too sure about Eric, I've always assumed

I am pretty certain that this ad is not a 'flashforward' but a clip from when serena and whatever dudes name is in the show are having sex when the season first began. so he's not out in the running to 'come out'

I think that the show is aimed at high-schoolers. And it may be too sexual but the show is out to get people attention, not to be a role model. And in today's society, it defintley gets teenagers attention. What shows except PBS are meant to be role models anyway??? If parents don't want there children to have a bad role model then they should lock them up in a dark cage!

If they are basing it on the books, then the gay character will be Chuck, because in the book, Chuck does end up being gay. It certainly isn't going to be Nate or Dan. Unless they're referring to a gay female character (which the proper term is actually lesbian, but whatever)…I could see Jenny being a lesbian, or maybe Vanessa. Who knows, maybe Dan and Serena will break up momentarily and Serena and Vanessa will have a thing (sorta like when Marissa and Ryan broke up on the OC and Marissa and Alex got together!) I really hope it's not Chuck, though. I just love him and Blair together and I love what a prick he is to girls. LOL. It's horrible but come on, every girl knows they love a bad boy.
Oh, that's right, I forgot momentarily about how Dan was confused about his sexuality in the books…but of course in the books, Dan was an ENTIRELY different person…he kissed Serena ONCE when she was drunk, and other than that, they had no relationship whatsoever. He just fantasized and stalked her. She didn't even know of his existence. LOL I remember how Dan's mom came home in the books and his family threw him a "coming out" party. That was great. And in the books Dan was a completely hopeless, unattractive dork that chain-smoked and like, dressed in all black and just wrote poetry all day. Unlike his character in the show, who is maybe kinda awkward and shy, but is totally hot and DID manage to land Serena. So obviously they are not following every storyline in the book, which means that just because Chuck was the one that was gay (or really THOUGHT to be gay) in the books, doesn't necessarily mean that they'll make it that way on the show.
