I think it's so interesting that Hillary supporters claim she has more experience. She likes to say she has 35+ years of experience in politics. She counts her time as being a lawyer and first lady as political experience, which it isn't. If you study the documents released from her time as First Lady, you'll see that she visited different countries to chat and lunch with political leaders' wives although she likes to claim that has part of her "experience" in foreign policy. Lets not even talk about her healthcare debacle. She joined the Senate in 2001, Barack was elected in 1996. So, Barack has MORE experience in politics than she does. Both Hillary and Barack hold degrees in political science and law from prestigious universities. Also, to those who say Hillary has always supported gays, remember that she supported her husband when he proposed the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy. It should also be mentioned that she supported NAFTA.And to those who say that Barack never says what "change" is, look on his website and/or his speeches and you'll SEE that he does explain what changes need to be made and how to achieve them. Do your research first.
And, by the way, Barack is a Christian and has been for over twenty years. His father, who was an athiest, left when he was two years old and Obama only saw his father once, in 1971, and that was the last time he saw him before his father died in a car crash in 1982. Where does Hillary go to church? And how long has she gone to that church if she does attend? And how many times have you heard her speak of God or her religion?

Go to his website and watch the addresses he has made during the race at numerous events over the country. Watch him in interviews. He has very specific, clear, and concise plans for what he wants to do regarding education, health care, reducing poverty, foreign policy, etc. Your ignorance is overwhelming, because you just latch onto the popular assumptions of others that are against him, and you don't even realize that your claims are just plain false.
Also, for all of the racist homophobes commenting on this site-I suggest you get over yourselves and move to a different country where your bigoted ideologies will be welcome, because America is not for you. This is a country where there is a population of diverse individuals, not just referring to the differences between racial identities, but the differences within them as well. The direction of America is not ever going to go backward; there will always be a forward march toward equality for all people, no matter how slow the progress. He's really being as honest as he could possibly be. The fact that he has spoken so openly about the difficulties in getting anti-discrimination (et. all) legislation through is actually incredibly important. The President's job is not to create legislation - that's precisely what Congress is for - he can set a priority agenda and encourage Congress to follow them, but ultimately the power to make the changes to give gay and transgender citizens equal rights lies with: #1 the voters electing the right people to the House and Senate #2 the voters contacting their Congressmen/women by phone or mail stressing the importance of equal rights for ALL citizens under the law #3 a president who wouldn't veto such a piece of legislation once it got to his/her desk. "We the people" have a tremendous amount of responsibility for the problems that the gay community faces, and ultimately if we want to see change we need to take action to get our message across. The candidates WILL respond to the majority public if that is it's will because they need their votes to retain their power. Often even the smarmiest politician can be bought with constituent sway. Kudos to Obama for his relatively honest conversation with the Advocate. He's much braver than most of the majority candidates for sure.
