Former rapper turned reality TV star Vanilla Ice was arrested in Palm Beach County, Florida on Thursday night.
He wasn't drunk driving. It wasn't for drugs.
The fucktard was busted for domestic battery!!!!!!!!
Physically abusing your wife???? That is beyond low. That is beyond unacceptable!
Vanilla's wife called deputies to say her husband was hitting and kicking her.
Police arrived at their Wellington home around 7:15 p.m. to find Ice on his motorcycle, two blocks from their home.
Back at the couple's home, Laura Van Winkle appeared uninjured and was less forthcoming, saying she did not want to deal with media attention, but wants a divorce, according to a deputy's report. She said her husband had not hit or kicked her, but had pushed her.
Okay, lying about your husband beating you is not cool either!!!!
"He started yelling at me for going out to buy a bedroom set. In front of my daughter," she told a deputy, according to the arrest report. "I'm sorry I can't say any more until I talk to an attorney."
Vanilla told deputies that he and his wife had been arguing since the previous day, leading him to tell her "You're nuts!" He said his wife is bipolar and takes medication but still has irrational and argumentative episodes. He denied pushing his wife, according to the report.
He said he left on his motorcycle so they could cool down.
The facts aren't in Vanilla's favor, though.
Ice has been arrested for domestic battery before! The douche was arrested in 2004 and faced the same charges.

First, let me start by saying that I am a victim of 12 years of domestic violence and they do not change. Once they have hit you once they will comtinue to hit you always, it just gets worse. You do need to get out, just be careful who you get help from. I went through the local YWCA, told them what had been going on thinking that they were there to help me get my restraining order,boy was I wrong. I went in there trusting these people told them my horrific story of what had happen over the past 12 years and that I had just finally gotten my divorce in Aug. 2007. My ex-husband threatened to kill me this past weekend so I did what I thought was the right thing to protect myself and my three sons. They stabbed in the back they called DCFS and now I am being charged with neglect, being a victim of this hanious crime of violence you are scared enough. Then you go to people that you think that you can trust and they turn on you. My life is my children and I would die to protect them, now I not only have to watch them like a hawk because of their deranged father, but also fight to keep my sons. All three of my children are now scared beyond belief. Not only about what their father may do to me, but that the one person that always protected them even if it meant she got a beating for it may be taken from them. My advice to any person who is in a violent situation is ALWAYS GET OUT, just be careful who you trust they just may turn on you.

Okay kids, here is my armchair diagnosis. The bipolar wife went out on a shopping binge while on a manic high (really common when you are bipolar) and bought a new bedroom set. Hubby got mad and they had an argument. Crazy wife then calls the cops knowing that she can set him up to take the fall on domestic abuse charges because of his history. All to get his attention and punish him. Take your meds crazy people!!! They work.

Huh? Knowing that this is how it is, doesn't this then make it very easy to lie as the wife seems to be doing now? Why would she be afraid to say her husband kicked and punched her, as she did the first time, but not be afraid to say he pushed her, since that is still being treated as battery anyway?

You are so right. My mother took a lot of abuse from my stepfather for a long while. Women who lie about being battered are experientially the more related to batterers than battered women, and men who are wrongly accused of battery are also more related experientially to battered women than they are to batterers. People who lie about violence trivializes real violence that people go through. They are there to discredit the entire movement to stop violence and they should be shamed.

She threw a frame (with glass) off a balcony which almost hit their kids when it shattered.
