All is not well in the Victoria Beckham empire!
The former Spice Girl's dVb denim line has been dropped by severeal top boutiques in America.
Why???
The pricey jeans haven't been selling!
Plus, Victoria has failed to actively promote her line, which would help sales.
Explaining his decision to dump Victoria's denim line, Kitson owner Fraser Ross says, "We asked her PR people so many times for her to appear but she didn't. Celebrity lines are no different from an album or music tour. They have to be promoted to sell."
And Posh wasn't selling.

Love Vicky B. LOVE her. However, I'll be the first to say that her jeans were not that cute and, obviously, extremely overpriced.

Victoria I worked for the gap many years ago it costs 60 cents to make a pair of jeans..yes there is marketing and than there is thievery please get that price point in line with reality they are not gold they are simply cotton denim and your name means nothing to anyone unless you show up and even than no one is going pay $300 for a pair of ill fitting pants! Holt Renfrew in Canada has them and they are cut way to low and they r a terrible fit…

What an ungrateful queen Fraser Ross is and to think she came into his store and was nice to him. This is the thanks she gets what a miserable desperate person he is. I heard kitson is down 60% in sales how sad. No one gives a fuck about that OVERPRICED last seasons crap.

I saw her jeans in Belgium when I was there for 440 euro so in dollars thats about $690… hmmm thats alot of money …..
Her stuff is overpriced, I think she thinks of herself as a serious and noted fashion brand rather than the celebrity fad that she is. It's a shame because aside from the price issue, her jeans are actually really nice.

I do not buy anything from celebrity, most of them are boring, all do the same thing, either a perfume, or clothing line ……..they just put their names. To me it has no value i don't care how good it looks, or smell. Is just my policy. If you are an actor I will buy you movie, but I won't buy his or hers perfume.

Perez..I'm sure that this whole thing is part of her media blitz to get attention. her denim line hit the ??? One week after she is photoged in the jeans the web is ablaze with searches on where to buy and the next week Perez Hilton blogs about the line being dumped for not doing PR..I would bet Kitson is in on it..butthat I'm not bold enough to call that one. She is doing her job in promoting the line this season. Anyone really thinking about dumping the line should give it another season. I know they are my list of must haves.

well..i bet the other so-called celebs who got fashion line as well (Hilary Duff, Jessica Simpson etc) don't go to each of their stores to promote their clothes!! in fact..i only saw them show up to promote their lines only on its launching/debut day!!! they're a lot worse! there is something "fishy" and "smelly" about this DVB dumping! i think there's nothing to do with the price of her jeans at all! it's only because it's Victoria! i think if it is other celebs who did what they claimed she did (not promoting and all) these stores and media won't care that much..or won't care at all! at least she promoted her lines in UK and during her recent Spice Tour more than twice! all of this are just some plots to get rid of her..and the media is the best place to start!

aparently Fraser Ross has denied about this rumor which is made by him in the first place, after he has been AMBUSHED by both Victoria and VOGUE at his store! He tells British Vogue, "The rumors are ridiculous - Kitson is extremely proud to be selling dVb by Victoria Beckham. We are fully committed to the dVb collection and our customers and Victoria's fans ask for it daily." He added, "I've seen next season's collection and I can't wait to get it in-store, especially the new dVb men's collection launching in September."
