It was nice to see that some fathers like to spend time with their kids…….have to wonder, if the 8 teens who beat up that poor 16yo girl had any kind of positive role model in their lives?
Re: Annoyed –
Maybe it's just me, but from what I saw, the kid had on a helmet. I don't think standing on a board with no wheels constitutes having to wear a helmet. Maybe it's just me. My kid rides a dirtbike with a helmet, and has been riding with one since he was 3. When he recieved his first bike on Christmas, we didn't make him wear a helmet to sit on it for pictures when the bike was stationary…like I said, maybe it's just me! Both my kids are in carseats when we drive. I think I'm a very cautionary parent, and would be the first to admit when I child is in dire need of protective gear, but this was a baby being held by his father on a skateboard going in excess of about 5mph. My sister fell on ice while strolling my daughter into a mall. The stroller fell on it's side and left my daughter dangling, as we rushed to pick her up. Luckily she wasn't hurt, but I sure did't make her wear a helmet to the mall from then on. I think calling this particular father irrisponsible was a bit harsh, that's all. I completely get your point with parents that don't make their children wear helmets, protective gear, etc., I just thought your post was a bit "grouchy", for lack of a better term.
Never know what the "prodigy" might have wanted to do with his life.
This is a drug habit waiting to happen.
Dad/Mom's back off and let the kids breathe.
wow - very cool perez. thx for the link. i'll remember that kids name and keep an eye out for him. the kids LOVES it. nice to see dad share such great time with his son. nice vid.

why don't you hire someone to delete the spam comments??? and these damn stupid people who post "first!"
Dumbasses.
Make your most recent comments show up first. It will increase site hits when people go back to argue with each other. And people won't leave the stupid "first!" comments as much. (Or, is that the point? To drive up web traffic to the main site? Sounds like a lame way to increase site hits to me…) See yahoo's OMG site for an example.
I luv this video thanks for sharing. Big ups to him for doing all he can and proving what you can teach a child in such a short amount of time and at an early age. Love the "daddy day" comment also.
Simply amazing. He's an adorable kid with a great role model and you can tell he's going to be a friggin' wizard on a skateboard someday. I'm also glad that his dad taught him the importance of wearing long sleeved shirts and pants and a helmet when he skateboards..it's obvious that this isn't a case of stagemoming, it truly is a dad sharing his passion with his son. I hope I can do the same with my kids some day.
I don't see what the big deal is. Yeah this kid is young but all he's doing is riding the board and dropping in. BFD. He's no more coordinated than my daughter who is swimming at 1. Why post this shit Perez? It's really not that spectacular. This Dad needs to get a life. Can you imagine how much time he put into this with all the filming over the years and then putting this video together? BFD BFD BFD
jared this is another emily. YOU are the stupid idiot bitchhh! you dont know that kid or his family how the hell do you know wether or not his father has a job. dumbass. secondly it takes one to know one. you think that little kid is going to do that just because you do drugs, fuck sluts and skip school doesnt mean he will.
you obviously are a jealous shit because you cant skateboard and some little kid can…. sorry that you dont have a father good enough to teach you and help you learn in life.
As the mother of Odin I am shocked by all of the negative assumptions posted. My husband is a highly educated human being and a remarkable artist. We own our own home and work hard for what we have. We love and appreciate Odin like no other. We have never once forced him into doing anything that he doesn't truly love and aspire to do. So all you h8trs can just create your own unrealistic judgements; but we for one admire our son!
I want my 6 minutes back. Stop posting this drivel bitch.
Good job Dad, what a nice positive role model, probably the next little champion……
