Sweater-loving, Jello-eating, 80's sitcom dad Bill Cosby is releasing a 'feel good' hip hop CD in May.
Cosby Narratives Vol. 1: State of Emergency blends the comedian's concepts and stories with a hip-hop, pop and jazz soundtrack.
So what's Cosby's 'feel good' release going to address? "The value of an education. The value of respecting one's self and … giving (listeners) a chance to raise their self-esteem and confidence,” Cosby said.
Cosby's longtime musical collaborator Bill "Spaceman” Patterson commented, "He (Cosby) has always understood rap's potential, but he was appalled by the foul language and the misogyny — the way people used a medium that could be used to elevate people, to open their eyes and provoke thought.”
Guest rappers provided the 70-year old with the rhymes for the album.
We're glad Cosby is getting this out of his system. Now maybe he'll shut his piehole about how rap music is evil and shiz!

Shut his piehole about the evil rap music? You suck. You just, sentences before, reported that he saw potential in the musical style but was appalled by it's typical content. Cyn ,I remember Pudding Pops and they were awesome!Why did they discontinue them! You know all we need to do is make regular pudding but when its setting spoon it into those popsicle makers and put the stick in and then freeze it. Yummy! I still think Cosby is such a sleeze. Perhaps he can pick up where the Rev. MLK, Jr left off and inspire achievement and dignity as the route by which african americans can continue to advance their standing in modern society. Re: COSBY WHO? – Jiggerboo is the preferred and traditional pronunciation and spelling of jigger boo and jiggaboo. The latter spelling has become prominent since the advent of nigga as a term for niqqer. Jiggerboo is used to describe an unknown Negro (meaning one you do not personally know) and who is not immediately known to be violent (as would be the case for a Negro on a police show). Once you have met them or know of violent tendencies, the term niqqer is preferred and more accurate. Also one should never end a sentence with a preposition. Like "at".
