Goth metal/rock circles encompass the same 'look'. Dita has gone off and refined it to pin-up level. The women that hang in these musician circles often dress/look similar. It's a scene, and it's fun for the girl to try on personas when partnered with a rock icon, particularly when you're young like Wood, and an actress who makes a living adopting varying personas. It's playing dress-up, and that's also what Von Teese does, btw. Younger women know about this. Not all do it. There's no harm in it.
