No, not after I read one (that was negative) and I had a really great show. I was like f— that. I'm not reading that s— anymore. The thing about reviews that's kind of funny is like you're going to the concert to judge it. That's not the right mentality to be in. … You're going to a concert to have a good time and to join the music and to go as a fan. … (My shows are) not for the reviewer who doesn't like my music anyway, so I think that a lot of (reviews) are unfair. I don't think anyone really reads them anyway.

The fact that Hilary even compares herself to Avril is pathetic. Avril is in a completely different league musically. Hilary might be right in saying that Avril is a douche, but lets separate facts from fiction here. Avril is an international artist and is known around the world. Hilary Duff on the other hand does NOT have an international career and IF she has sold albums outside the US, it's probably very few. Sounds to me as if young Duff has quite a "bloated" image of herself and that she is needs to get her facts straight. That said, I'm not really wild about any of the two girls, but if I had to make a choice it would be Avril. Hilary makes shit elevator music and seems very boring to me.

It's a lot better to admit not being able to play a musical instrument, than to pretend being able to play several - and even quite well. Apparently Avril has learned some _basics_, and I mean _basics_ after she came out, but she was pretty hopeless in the beginning. Stating things like "A lot of girls wish they could jam on the guitar like I could, but they can't" and not even being able to play that fricking guitar live. Even many artists who don't claim to be able to play the instrument, may accompany themselves while performing on some radio show etc. She wouldn't do even that. However it wouldn’t stop her from declaring to be “the real deal”, a great musician and POSING with the guitar at every occasion. While her playing skills have improved, she is hardly a notable musician by any standards, and her fans declaring what a great guitarist-pianist-drummer she is after strumming a few chords or playing a certain instrument for one or two songs (which I may add aren’t particularly challenging) make her only look more ridiculous.

Nice to see Avril-fans (if you are one?) are finally beginning to grasp it. Seeing, how Avril CO-WRITES. The Matrix songwriting team, a bunch of professionals, pretty much wrote the hits that made her famous and have later revealed how she added only a word or two. And they're not even the only people she's had such problems with. So much for sitting with a guitar and writing about whatever’s on her heart, or how did that go? Nevermind the little troubles she’s had lately concerning plagiarism…

Hilary latest album was a huge FLOP while Avril Lavigne was a HIT!. I also like Hilary but she's kind of stuip I don't know she's like so whatever hahah I prefer Avril she's way better succsseful, she's #1, Hilary don't.
