The Oprah thing is easily explained… MIMI is a Diva… and those home watching Oprah are not in the mood for a DIVA all about her money and her lifestyle since ALOT of people are having a problem paying to drive to work. Truthfully Perez I think it was because Michael Johns went home, no one really cares that much anymore. Even Carly Smithson said that all the remaining Idols were in a depressed funk this past week because MJ is gone.
I did tune in just to see what Ryan would say about the backlash against him for the way he handled MJ's elimination and of course he glossed right over it. Mariah well, she looked orange and plastic and I'm truthfully so over only seeing her in profile from her self-proclaimed "good-side" that it just all overtakes the fact that she has written some pretty wonderful songs during the earlier parts of her career. Mooprah (Oprah+Mimoo) is boring, that's why. Mariahcan Idol (Mariah + American Idol) is as painful to watch as when the American Idols covered Gloria Estephan. Guess what, Mariah's songs all sound EXACTLY the same except to someone who loves her genre of screaming and that signature whateverthefuck that is at the end of each song. I own one Mariah album (in vinyl) which was her debut album. I'm still mad that I'm never getting that $8.95 I spent in 1989 (or whenever it was) back.
