What Would Jesus Do?

Filed under: TV News > Gay Gay Gay

Azariah Southworth, host of the popular Christian youth show The Remix has done something radical (at least in the Christian world).

The host of over a year and a half has come OUT of the closet! As a homo! A gay!

Congrats on coming out!!!!!

Amen, we say. aMEN.

Southworth says, “This has been a long time coming. I’m in a place where I’m at peace with my faith, friends, family and more importantly myself. I know this will end my career in Christian television, but I must now live my life openly and honestly with everyone. This is my reason for doing this.”

The Remix is seen in more than 128 million homes worldwide. The show is in syndication and averages more than 200,000 viewers weekly.

Southworth has risen to fame in the Christian world and has been featured in different national publications, such as Charisma Magazine and many other religious media outlets.

Southworth adds, “I know I will be cut off from many within the Christian community, and if so, then they didn’t get the point of the life of Christ. I believe by me living my life honestly and authentically now, I am able to be a better person and a better Christian. We all know there are so many other gay people in the Christian industry; they’re just all scared. I was scared, but now I’m no longer afraid."

He probably just ruined his career in the Christian biz, but better free and happy than closed and oppressed.

I am a believer in Christ and I think that its amazing that he came out! Good for him and what courage he has. If Jesus Christ were here in this time, he would still love, and not criticize him. The Bible says we ALL have sinned, and no sin is greater then another. Who are we to judge each other?

It's sad to see people giving their back to Christ, God Loves gay people , as any other person in the world, even though it's not correct to be one and it's called a sin. God made us to be woman & man , not man & man or woman & woman .
It's also sad that many people in the world is influenced by this idea, and is pushing to people to become on of them , with all respect. I am a Christian , and the bible says it's not correct to be gay (have you heard Sodoma & Gomorra's story) & also, you're not born gay , this is all part of the environment where you live, grow, and live different experiences you, at the end, turned you gay, you know what i mean?. Hope you understand this , and this guy, Azariah Southworth, has been influenced by this new wave and we are praying for him to open his eyes and after all these years of hearing God & Jesus's teachings he'll regret of his actions and sayings .

I'm praying for all of you, :) and you know GOD LOVES YOU , and I DO TOO :)

Say Amen all you want but he is wrong! He knows he cannot practice being a homo and still say he is a Christian. He needs to repent from this sin and be restored back to God. He feels better now coming out because he is finally at peace with his father, the devil.

All religion is bullsh*t, its the root of all evil. So who cares if he doesnt get another job in the ”Christian world”, he could do better. F*ck religion, he should be able to get a job no matter what.

Re: kenzo – Yes, Jesus loves everyone. Straight or gay. But Most homosexuals don't want to beleive in God. They think that He hates them, but He does not. He hates sin and the wages of sin is death. There is no greater sin. We each have to go before the Lord in the great day of Judgement and I think this young man knows that. But, we must also not compromise,Too many times, I see us Christians compromising, thinking that it's okay, but in actuality, it's not. I will pray for him.

Re: yellow mucas – Yes, these people are blind. When you are blind, you can't tell the difference between light and dark. So yes, these people are blind.
