Ashley Tisdale can't stay in high school forever.
The Disney star is in negotiations to star in the remake of the 1989 cult classic Teen Witch.
We're actually excited about this!! And, we think Ashley is a great choice. Shock, we know.
The Tiz would play an unpopular high school teen who learns she's a descendant from the witches of Salem and has inherited their powers. The movie was a fantasy musical.
Dayum girl, you love those musicals!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ash is also executive-producing an untitled mall-set show based on her life for Disney Channel. Disney declined comment on the project, but it is understood that the Mouse house approached Tisdale after execs read a newspaper article in which the actress talked of her misadventures before finding a career with High School Musical.
Savvy move, Tiz! Going to the money side of the biz!

I would have wanted Blake Lively to play the lead in the remake of "Teen Witch" since her older sister, Robin, was the original lead…would have been interesting.

God I really hope they don't remake it especially with her. She just isn't pretty enough, I'm sorry, Robyn Lively was and still is stunning and tisdale looks like a million big nosed girls I went to high school with. But if they must remake it, they should bring Dan Gauthier (Brad) in to play a teacher or the dad or something. That man is even hotter now!

This ugly bitch Ashley CANNOT play the part of Louise.. she is nowhere near as gorgeous as Robyn was!!! Seriously WTF??? I would be okay with a remake only if they DIDN'T CAST THIS STUPID BITCH and casted Robyn's sister or someone similar. Also they would have to have Zelda in it and BETTER NOT CAST ZAC EFRON OR SOME OTHER FAG AS BRAD. Nothing can top the original. BUT if it's going to be made, they have to keep all of the songs AND find a creepy kid actor to play the brother…his lines are the BEST.
Also, they need the fashion montage of when Louise turns "cool". Oh god, those OUTFITS. I need to pull out the old VHS right now!

As long as a sexy closet gay plays Brad, then I'm happy! But the remake will NEVER be as musically satisfying at the Cult Classic! Latin Freestyle will most likely not be included.

Ok now Teen Witch was one of my favorite movies that I grew up on along with the Breakfast Club and Pretty In Pink. Can we not fuck this movie up..Robin Lively played the original teen witch and has a sister named Blake Lively, you may know her as Serena Van Der Woodsen in the most amazing show Gossip Girl. Why wouldn't she play her sister in teh remake and have her hair dyed red..she looks exactly like her..is it not bad enough they are trying to fuck up 90210 and its memories with a remake too!
