So , I'm a blondie and loving it and I've been working hard in the studio. I posted a couple of new songs on the player for you all to have a listen to and get an idea of my new direction, they are just at a demo stage so don't be too hard on them. Alanis Morisette hits the UK! Maybe a little Dido in there, too? Wouldn't have bought her preious stuff, but I like her new material. Somebody compared her to Amy Winehouse. What? Two totally different styles and I love them both. I would buy this stuff in a heartbeat. Good stuff, Perez. I love that you listen to international musicians.
I think its dopeness that shes doing it real, and as the scope of her fanbase grows, still attepts at reasonability. I mean how many other 'against the mainstream' artists do this? NONE unless you count the drrrrty south. So Yagga Yo ! its on!

I must say, I was really scared for her sophomore work…
It is definitely really different, but it fits her. I like the fact that she experimenting with her work a bit.
I will say that unlike some artist who experiment *cough camille cough*, her experiments actually result in some pretty hot shit.

I think the music is still as catchy as the first album yet different and written with clever lyrics. I LOVE them.
I also think that is just a god awful photo of her and you should post some more honest photos of her with her new hair. The one on her myspace right now shows that she can, indeed, pull off the blonde hair. She looks pretty in it but just a little plastic. I'm sure she'll be back to brunette soon enough.

really love them both!! so glad their not cheesy electro… 'i dont know', the lyrics are great… just so frank and 'i could say'.. i feel for her, she sounds so vunerable.. and you can tell she's poured her heart into it… i dont think these tracks need changing much at all… they have a good raw element to them. Good on her, these tracks are so much better than i thought she would come out with.. much more depth… cant wait for some more tracks!
