I think that her art project really fits the true definition of art - it's causing people to question both the established ideas on abortion and her interpretation of them. Did she take it to extremes? Of course! That's what good art does. By going to such an extreme it causes us to analyze where we fit in the middle, and more importantly, where we WANT to sit on the subject. I find it very interesting that her project has elicited such strong reactions even from pro-choice advocates. I think that if you truly believe in the right for a woman to choose, you have to accept that some women will choose things that you might not agree with. By objecting so strongly to her choices, you prove that you don't truly believe that she has the right to choose what to do with HER body, instead you are saying that she should have the right to do what YOU think she should with her body. I think that her project has shown that the pro-choice people are not as strong in their beliefs as they had perhaps believed. The very act of disagreeing with this moralistically indicates a belief in the "life" of a fetus of that age. If you believe that a fetus has life, you should not be pro-choice. As art goes, your outcry has already shown her to be successful beyond her wildest dreams.
