According to MediaTraffic, Madonna's 4 Minutes has now reached the #1 spot on the United World Chart Global Track Chart.
She's topping the charts all over the globe.
Craziness! And, unexpected!
Madge's single is Number #1 on the iTune Charts in 14 countries out of the 22 top countries listed. From the remaining 8 countries, she's #2 or #3 in six of the them. Only Greece and Japan didn't list her on the top 10… yet.
She's worldwide!
Unfortunately for Mariah Carey, she's only made top 10 (and that's in the bottom half of the top 10) in 5 countries.

I find it really hard to cop with perez CONSTINTLY! bashing mariah and putting OLDMadonna over her. She looks like a total trannie on crack when she running from side to side on stage. And; she can´t take a real dancestep for sure. Madonna OWNS the stage, and she sings better then you think. When she sang "Frozen" on The Re-Invention Tour, she made the public breathless and I was truly impressed.

I am a big fan but i had to comment on this one. I am a radio dj in Canada. I think you need to get a better hook up for your charts. Because in most cases Mariah is beating Madge on the charts. Not that i don't love Madge actually i love both these ladies but if you look at Mariah's CD reviews they are stellar and the first single ha hit number one on more than one chart and madonna is close behind but not beating. Not to say what you have may say other wise but in the radio world this is simply not true.

It is not released on cd single until today 20/4/08 in most countries so Madonna has reached the heights she has based on downloads alone. Wait 2 weeks before you judge. Mariah is not as popular here in Australia compared to Madonna. Mariah may be Number 1 on Itunes album but i guarantee she will disappear very fast like her single did on our official charts. Ok, the thing is Madonna is a institution. Time after time she keeps coming back whether her songs are big, medium, or little hits. She is part of our culture. She's been around for more than 25 years…..come on…ok her fan base has changed alot as well….so has her music….She is taking risks….I think she knows that the US is skeptical and critical of her now, and this why she focus her energies at the rest of the world.
