Jennifer Aniston really hasn't done much since her last "hit" - The BreakUp - came out over two years ago.
The one big-budget film she was working on, He's Just Not That Into You, was scheduled to be released this summer, on August 1st.
Seems no one wants to watch Jen on screen. Her movie's been pushed back! That's NEVER a good sign for a movie! And, moving it from the lucrative summer box office season will likely hurt it in addition to the bad buzz this delay will bring.
The film is now set to be released later in October.
A New Line rep confirms to Life & Style that the movie is being pushed back, saying, "That is the tentative new release date [October 24, 2008], though I don't believe its 100 percent official yet. It's definitely no longer August 1."

Its almost as if she didn't believe that she could have a baby and a career, like she had to chose one or the other, these days celebrities can have it all because they can afford to hire help. And with the current baby boom in Hollywood it just shows that major female stars are having kids and a career. She must have really not wanted a kid, although I think her movie career would have been better off, she was already famous but kids are free publicitynow days. She may fair better just producing movies and doing ocassional cameos or taking smaller but meaningful parts or producing a sitcom. But with her money, fame and comedic talent she never should have worried about whether work was going to be out there for her, I think she was/is waiting for studios to call her when she should have planned years ago before Friends ended to produce her own movie and sitcom projects.
What's the purpose of Jennifer Anniston anyway? She had good hair back in the day, was on a hit show back in the day, and had Brad Pitt back in the day! It's time for Manniston to retire and enjoy those millions that people were crazy enough to pay her back in those days!

The fact that it is moved from August to October probably means it's turning out better than originally thought.
I really like Jen and would definitely see the movie. The Break Up was great! The book (which her newest movie is based on), He's Just Not That Into You, is supposed to be spectacular and I can't imagine the film version not doing well in theaters.

I have absolutely nothing to do with this movie but I actually read this script and it was reallly adorable. I'm psyched for the movie. I believe Justin Long, Drew Barrymore, Gynnifer Goodwin, Scar Jo, Brad Cooper and Ben Affleck are also in the movie - so I would hardly blame anything on Jennifer Aniston.
I think Jen's great - sometimes it's really hard to transition from tv to the movies. You've gotta give her credit though, she was one of everybody's favorite "Friends" for 10 seasons, people are used to seeing her in a less serious, ditsy role. That's a long time! It's true though, I can't help but think that her career was hurt by her divorce. But I think the same goes for Brad, I know a lot of women who aren't crazy about him anymore. His relationship with Angelina has added some kind of "weird factor" to his celebrity.
I liked Aniston in FRIENDS, but she doesn't seem genuine in her other projects such as her movies.
Jen should go back to tv. I think she could do well in a comedy series.

I saw the movie He's Just Not Into You already at a sneak preview. It was a good movie. Besides others are in it Drew Barrymore, Justin Long, Ben Affleck and a couple other strong actors.

"Jen was looking forward to going up against the Sex ensemble — especially Sarah Jessica — and some of the other summer blockbusters," says the insider. "They've never been friends in real life, and probably never will be.
"But Jen's convinced her film has a superior story and more attractive cast. People are going to compare these movies and she doesn't regret taking part in the project. This is the script that lured her back to work after taking two years off. She's standing by her belief that it is a worthy picture."
