CNN Anchor Busted For Meth!

Richard Quest, a business travel specialist for CNN International, was arrested Friday on a misdemeanor charge of drug possession.
Authorities said Quest was found in Central Park with methamphetamine.
Police noticed the host of CNN Business Traveler at 64th Street and West Drive a bit after 3:40am.
Quest was arrested after he was escorted out of Central Park for violating the park's curfew. Central Park is closed from 1am to 6am.
As he was being led out, Quest voluntarily said "I have meth in my pocket."
IDIOT!
When police searched him, they found a small amount of meth in a Ziploc bag.
Luckily for him, Quest was spared jail time. A judge arraigned him the same day and agreed to drop any criminal charges against him if he underwent six months of drug counseling.
CNN has yet to release a comment.

I'm so not surprised. His crazy eyes and over the top voice gave his meth addiction away.. I guess he is pretty far along inhi saddiction though. Now he's getting really careless and messy. Seems like he wanted to be busted… and stopped. I guess this is what the closet will do to you after a while.

As a former employee of CNN International and having been a friend of Mr. Quest you are ALL OUT OF LINE!!! Richard is a good person with a big heart. He encouraged me with career goals and always had an ear to listen. He is obviously hurting right now and needs support NOT criticism.He made a mistake BUT we all do and he deserves a second chance. He is an incredible journalist that always want to tell a good story. So before your judge and make fun of him remember we are all human!!!
Meth is an extremely harmful drug. It honestly makes crack seem like Aspirin. It destroys the body. He needs to smoke a spliff, drink a beer, and put down the meth pipe.

No he wasn't an idiot for telling them since he was already arrested they were going to search him dimbass. I always heard there was no misdemeanor charges involving meth. Obviously NY has some different shit going on.
