Sandra Bullock and her husband, Jesse James, were involved in a head-on collision in Gloucester, Mass, on Friday night.
The pair were hit by a drunk driver!
Thankfully, Sandy and her hubby were not seriously injured.
Bullock is in the area shooting the romantic-comedy The Proposal with Ryan Reynolds.
The alleged drunk driver was Lucile Gathcell, 64 years old.
Seniors should defintely not be drinking and driving. It might react badly with all their meds!

Please Perez….. put up MADD.org as a worthwhile cause. I lost the love of my life to a drunk driver and MADD has supported and helped me through my loss. By you posting this organization your readers can get info on the importance of eliminating all drunk drivers. Life is too precious to take the chance of driving while drunk. Drunk Driving KILLS. It is completely preventable tragedy if people would just act responsibly. Thanks

I am so sorry to hear about the horrific incident you had to endure. It reminds me of something Mother used to say (before we put her down due to her advancing age — she was nearly 60 at the time). She taught me that when someone strikes you, you strike back twice as hard! You ought to have dove to the condiment counter and grabbed the sharpest spork out of that little basket and plunged it into that line skipping bastard's shriveled, goiter-ridden neck.

To NeverDrinkandDrive: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my parents last year to a drunk driver. They were killed instantly. It was his 5th DUI. And he's still free pending his trial and it's been over a year. To all those who joke about drunk driving being fun, I truly hope you never have to suffer a loss like this because it will not be so funny then. It is very hurtful to those who have experienced this to hear your comments. And I'm glad this accident was minor, but it certainly could easily have been a different outcome.

I think as soon as you hit 65 or whenever those oldies get their discounts and shit, that they should have to do road tests every 6 months. I passed 3 different car accidents this week alone that were caused by old people (2 who hit bikers, yeah yeah, i knwo bikers aren't any better, and 1 who mangled this other dudes car up). I don't plan on driving very much, or at all when I'm old. I'll just live in a place with a lot of cabs….I can already hear dissenters angrily typing about my comment. yesterday in the south of Spain a drunk driver crashed onto a bus and killed 9 tourist this is horrible probably he will be 2 or 3 years in prision and after he will be free

The best part is that Gloucester is a dry town; they don't sell liquor, beer, or wine. You have to get it elsewhere.
First of all, I would like to specify that according to people.com, they were hit on the front side of the car…..it was NOT a head on collision. If it really was a head on collision, they would not have gotten out of the car and walked away from the accident!

i live in manchester, right next to gloucester, and it disgusts me. a friday night DUI is typical for gtown and the fact that sandra and jesse were victims just goes to show that no one is safe.
