She's a genius that is getting help. I am thankful I have lived long enough to see a hurting soul truly appreciated for her art. Yes, some of us are mentally unbalanced and we will be medicated to some degree for the rest of our life. I am a 49 year old, white, bipolar grandmother (who smokes weed everyday). Amy definitely has talent, but she also has her demons. Her way of coping with them is to use drugs. Cannabis is not the harmless, recreational drug some would like us to believe. Let's hope she can get the help and support she needs at a personal level, and keep on producing her great music. I found the video of this altercation between Amy and the other person a bit tacky. She's so stoned she probably doesn't even know she's being filmed. Maybe a bit of privacy would help the woman, but in your world Perez, I guess that doesn't exist.

Seeing as how pot's long-term and short-term side-effects are admittedly scientifically less serious than alcohol, nobody should be calling anyone names. Now if she were wearing a shirt that said "i want your children to see me smoking pot and not acing like an inebriated alcoholic/cracky idiot so that they can become accustomed to the idea that sex and drug abstinence teachings are not only unsuccessful at deterring behavior, but completely exaggerate facts in order to try to convince people that certain ideals are the only right ones"…. then everyone should feel that they need to worry about how her bothersome behavior is effecting them or taking control of their children's minds away from them.
people need addiction/substance abuse education not lectures on substance avoidance. Humans are addictive in nature. Statistics clearly show that most Americans are taking drugs to cope instead of learning adaptive cognitions and behavior; if not taking illegal ones then legal ones like alcohol, cigarettes, caffeine and especially prescription drugs. It's not about avoiding substances, but being able to effectively cope with making your own decision (based on factual knowledge, not opinions or stereotypes) about doing nonviolent ones as well as coping with the experiences themselves. Many people would like to stay in denial of what drugs really are- any substances that alter normal bodily function- or that they could be addicted to one (even a "soft" one like caffeine). Alls sins are equal in the eyes, isn't that right?

And anyone with a smidgen of experience with it [most teenagers] would not have a bit of a problem doing things like driving a car, or waiting on some straight person like you in a convenience store. It prolly isn't pot that's causing them to laugh hysterically when you come in! Seriously — either one has self-control or they don't, it's not pot that "makes" people act in certain ways. Teenagers have less self control in general — and DRINKING causes real problems, like physical abuse and car accidents. The "Eyes" of who? Now you're bringing religion into this discussion? Ok, so many of us believe marijuana is a divine gift of nature and/or whatever deity you choose to worship. It's not a "sin" and should not be a crime either. And it's also human nature to want to alter our reality and consciousness, to use drugs for enjoyment and enlightenment and not just to avoid or ease pain.

The whole 4/20 thing originated in the US, and nobody in England (unless they've come here or have been told about it/read about it) know what the fuck that means!
