Despite spending a considerable amount of time there promoting E=MC2 and doing tons of interviews and chat shows, Mariah Carey's new CD has bombed in England.
The new album failed to meet expectations, underperforming and coming in at #3 this week.
Who beat out Mimi?
The Kooks, whose album came in at #1.
Meanwhile, Madonna has the #1 single in the U.K. now. 4 Minutes marks her 13th #1 single in Great Britain.

I read that Mariah has acknowledged that Madonna is the superior performer and has even purchased a custom golden rim chair and sent it to Madonna as an offering of her subservience. Attached to the chair was a note from Mariah offering to become Madonna's personal and exclusive 24 hour on call toilet. There was even a "PS" which stated that "Spray shits were welcome!" No word if Madonna has excepted.

How did bomb if it debuted at #3? I'm not exactly a fan of Mariah but i think this a bit harsh. If it failed to reach the top 20 then yeah, i would say it bombed or if it failed to chart at all then yeah it would have bombed but #3 is pretty good for a debut, anyone would think it had charted at #103 judging by this blog!
