In total, six songs hit the net.
They are:
Heartbeat
Give It 2 Me
Miles Away
Incredible
She's Not Me
Beat Goes On
And, we must say: we're relieved!
The songs aren't straight up hip hop, as we were concerned, especially by the choice of 4 Minutes as the single.
The new material still stays true to Madonna's core as a pop/dance artist.
Oh, and by the way, the Pharrell songs blow Timbaland's out of the water!

I heard 8 of the songs. The rest doesn't sound much like '4 Minutes.' Sounds like electro-urban-r'n'b-retro-pop, lol
'Candy Shop' is okay, lots of drums, mainly all about Madonnas voice. The refrain is weak.
'Give It 2 Me' is like retro-electro, quite okay. More up-tempo.
'Heartbeat' is pretty cool, starts off with heartbeats, she plays with her voice more, liked that one. This one is more grand, stands out. Seems like they've mixed the Supaplex electro with almost every song, this one too.
'She's Not Me' sounds like a flashback, strolls to the end sort of monotoneishly.
'Incredible' sounds the most bubblegum'ish. Slash electro
'Beat Goes On' the verses are different, the chorus almost the same. Bells and Whistles playing the back with a tad of electro
'Miles Away' I saved this one the last because i love this one. Not sure about it being a killer-single, but it's amazing.'4 Minutes' was the strongest single.
I knew she couldn't make another Confessions record, it really was a masterpiece. Confessions could've had about 9 singles out of 13 (including Fighting Spirit), I suppose Hard Candy's gonna produce 1/3 of that. I guess I'll still confess on the dancefloor a bit before i'll go for candy.

And how can you say Madonna's classics have not stood the test of time? Walk up to any random person on the street and ask them to sing the lyrics to Holiday (a song that at the time barely cracked the top 20) and then ask them to sing the lyrics to One Sweet Day (a song that spent 16 weeks at #1). Which song do you honestly think they'll know the lyrics to?

Madonna is not an artist. She just hires producers to write all her songs and she throws in her 2 cents so she can claim some credit. For once I would like to see what she can do on her own. The Beatles, Dylan, Bowie, Led Zepellin, The Stones, those are musicians, Madonna is a joke who appeals to the the same people who spend their weekends at a shopping mall. There is no depth whatsoever to her music. After hearing the whole album I can only conclude that this is music for 14 year old girls and gay men under 30.

i just hear miles away on youtube on madonna's new cd… what a great song.. the others were too randb/hiphop for my taste.. i much perfer confessions on a dancefloor.. i enjoy how she connected the whole cd and made it one big dance party….. though as usual i will buy it.. i have everything since the holiday 12" in my collection… maybe this cd will be like some of my nin cds which i never even opened but still own them to complete my collection… i am looking forward to the remixes of the new songs……. some of those tracks need to be reworked and get me on the dancefloor

Madonna is a great dancer, performer, business person, and American icon. However she can't sing, write music or play any instruments. The credit for her success should go to all the people she's payed to produce and write her records. She has nothing to say, unless opening your legs for 30 years is a point of view .
