That's just what Black people all around say/think and for the most part it's true. White people are always on time if not early for appt's or BBQ's or parties. If a Black family/person is told to be at a BBQ at 2pm they will more than likely show up at 4 or 5. Just my own experience with my own friends and family. Not racist at all…

Time is a very important custom for some. AND yes, it did include Europeans who held this belief. AND you know what they did, long ago. When they attempted to 'conquer' the world, and all the people they met, whom they assumed were subhuman and had to be 'taught' the European lifestyle of religion, being 'proper', and education in ways not their own. One of those was the importance of punctuality, which most other cultures, especially of Aboriginal North Americas and Africans, didn't live by a clock. It was by sunlight, by season.
