i think shes gorgeous but she is a very mediochre singer. And her thing is that shes all 70's like and shes like doing that old school thing.. but who fucking cares if she sounds good in a studio- she sounds like SHIT live.. James Taylor sounds BETTER LIVE. and BESIDES the 70'S ARE OVER. its time for something new .. shes beating a dead horse and doing an OK job .

Okay, Perez, why do you hate her? If she was the worst, and it was border line between her and jason, she will likely go since she has been hovering at the bottom 3. I truely felt it was okay to start over, it is not like she did the whole song and then said I forget the last word, let me do it over. Look at David A. with the beatle's song-he is a great singer, but he was lucky he wasn't gone on that night because he butched it. Most shows are taped and when a singer screws up, it is edited out. That is even if they are singing live and not lip syncing. Most of the contestants that were voted off, deserved it. She probably will be tonight too. And Idol did it fairly, at least on the east coast, where it is not edited.
The whole Andrew Llloyd Weber shit was a big cluster fuck. These kids are in their 20's, not their f'ing 60's. Gee, how about music more age appropriate? First Dolly Parton, then this. At least Mariah was more age appropriate. Andrew Lloyd Weber may be talented, but he is major creepy

actually i don't think that she demanded to start over, i think she started singing too early! i thought they had a tiny musical introduction and then she was supposed to start and she just butted right in lol. my god i hope she goes tonight, it was PAINFUL.

This woman is ridiculous… I haven't seen her perform an entire song from start to finished –not even once– in which she hasn't screwed up. I don't care if she had to start over and I don't know what you guys are hearing, but she brought me to tears. I felt the emotion in what she was singing and LOVED it! And finally, I'm thankful for Simon not feeding David A's ego any longer. He sucked last night, not as bad as Jason, but I did not like his song. He always sounds the same. I'm for David Cook - he was AMAZING last night!
David A. *should* be in bottom tonight, but he won't be. He was the only one who didn't perform in the musical theater style. He has a good voice, but he always sounds the same. Plus, his Daddy Dearest father did some number on him, he is a charisma-less robot. Even if he is horrible, he will never be voted in the bottom. He's going to win, but David C. and even Michael J. & Jason will have better careers.
jason castro is so boring and lame that he makes me want to give up on todays musical artists. he should be the one going home tonight. i can't take his cheesy ass personality for a second longer. it takes all of my power not to throw my remote control through the tv screen when he's singing, or talking, or standing in the background somewhere.

despite a horrendous performance last night, im still a jason castro fan, and i hope he doesn't get eliminated (but the producers blatantly want him gone, so he's probably history). david cook is my favourite, but i kind of don't want him to win, and be saddled with the cheesy title of AI winner, and forced to sing one of their god-awful tunes. better suited to dull, contempo-loving balladeers like little david archuleta.
I'm getting really tired of Brooke, and can't wait for her to be voted off. She always has some stupid look on her face when the judges are talking to her, because she wants them to feel bad for her, and when they say something she doesn't want to hear, she responds with "Ok, ok…… ok." She thinks she's better than all of the other contestants, and she's actually just really annoying. REALLY. And she feels like if she hides behind the piano when she's singing, people won't realize that her singing isn't all that great. Go home tonight please!
I love her!!! She's way better than anyone else up there! She is what we need in an American Idol! At least she recovered and her sound changes not like that Cook guy who ALWAYS sounds the same, she's the real deal. GO BROOKE!

To be honest, I found myself agreeing with Paula more than the other two. She was right on the money about Brooke and some other things. I don't care what anyone says, but Jason and David C. are the best ones left. Jason's style is laid back. I am with the other poster who said they hope David C. doesn't win. Let David A. win and be saddled with the AI winner tag and contract. David C. is he only one left that will definitely get a contract either way. I am not sure any of the others will if they don't win. As for Brooke, she really is full on herself. Earlier, she thought she had this in the bag, as evidenced by her constant talking a reassurance to the audience, and now her ego is being deflated. I'd be shocked if she's not eliminated tonight.

Singers make mistakes. Singers sing off-key. Singing live is not easy. Perhaps we should all understand that recording artists are overproduced and autotuned to perfection these days. I think she handled the situation like a pro.
She didn't DEMAND, you dickhead. She ASKED to start over, which was a wise, contrary to space cadet, Paula Abdul's critque to the opposite. Brooke gets an unfair rap and I don't think her version was bad.
