Delta just did a great duet with Olivia Newton-John for Olivia's new CD. The song is called "Right Here With You," and is the theme for Olivia's 250 mile walk on the Great Wall of China to raise money for her cancer wellness center in Australia. The CD comes out on May 5th.

Delta Goodrem has a very pretty voice, and is a true musician. She writes/co-writes her own material and plays piano. The lyrics of her songs have substance, some confronting issues she has faced in her own life. She is very well liked in her home country of Australia, but in the UK suffered bad publicity in the British tabloids over McFadden taking up with her and leaving his wife and kids. I guess only the people involved know the truth on that one, but the British tabloids are hardly a reliable source of information! Anyway, as a singer, she is worth a listen to all of you in the US.

Delta sucks shit. She cannot sing, she is synthesised on her albums and she is dreadful live. The only reason she got any recognition was the fact that she got lymphoma. Before that her success was petering out. Even is Australia people were over her. She played the cancer victim thing to the hilt. There are plenty of women in Australia and around the world who get cancer every day and have to deal with it on their own without having magazines write about it like it is the greatest tragedy ever. They do not make entire careers out if it. DELTA SUCKS - her "talent " rivals that of Jessica Simpson. At least Jessica can occasionally sing.

re#254 Delta's a fucking twat You have every right to express an opinion as to whether you like Delta as a singer or not, but your comments about her using her battle with lymphoma as a publicity booster are way beyond what would be considered appropriate. She was very young and her career was just taking off when the disease hit. She had to undergo bouts of chemotherapy and lost all of her hair, apart from enduring the other awful side effects of the treatment. She would also live with the fear of the cancer returning. Are you aware that her mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer? They have actually asked for privacy while she undergoes her treatment. I trust you nor any of your loved ones ever have to endure the hell of cancer. My mother died of it. My son works in a cancer hospital and is actually researching lymphoma. I read a lot of his work and that of others, and believe me, the last thing on anyone's mind with this disease would be courting publicity.
