There's proof that Jenna Bush uses her own brain, however small it may be!
Jenna and her momma, Laura, were guests on Larry King Wednesday night.
The elder talk show host asked the Bush ladies their favorite of the two Democratic presidential candidates.
Momma Bush gave the expected 'Republican' Bush answer — neither, she's a John McCain supporter.
But, Jenna, answered more thoughtfully than we'd expect from a Bush:
Jenna Bush: I don't know.
Larry King: A-ha! Are you open to…
Jenna Bush: Yeah, of course. I mean, who isn't open to learning about the candidates and I'm sure that everybody's like that.
Wonder if her twin sister is as enlightened?

jenna bush is actually a pretty brilliant young woman. she graduated from wake forest, and is currently getting her masters at univ of virginia. she's done a lot for UNICEF, which she's written a book of all her experiences with this great organization, and what she gets from the sales shes donating to UNICEF and the rest will go to the woman who inspired the book. give her some credit, Perez, she aint that dumb.
You are not putting the whole context of what was said. They asked her which of the two she liked better … Obama or Clinton. And, that was her response. Get your facts STRAIGHT!

While I am no fan of the current administration and all it stands for, I have to defend Jenna Bush. I thought she was an idiot. However, she is quite an intelligent young lady who has been working very hard to do some good in the world, and I commend her for that. Yes, she used to party… but she was young. She is growing up into a classy woman.

Ask the people of Africa how much he has done for them. Ask the people of Iraq - I have several friends and loved ones on the ground in Iraq and they will tell you how much love and support they receive on a daily basis from the people of Iraq.

Perrezzle - frankly, you should be celebrating what Jenna is using her "first daughter fame" to do. She's written a book called Ana's Story, a non-fictional narrative of the life of a HIV positive young woman in the carribean. She's written it for teenagers as a way to promote awareness of the issue and believes that through education, this epidemic may turn around. I've read the book, I've had the opportunity to hear Jenna speak on it and her time as an UNICEF intern, and I couldn't be more impressed with how she is going about promoting this specific cause. She's not doing it because she wants to be famous (she's not even getting hitched at the WH!!), she's raising her profile through some of these appearances in order to raise UNICEF's agenda in the national conscience. What folks may not know, is that later in the day she probably went to a local school to talk to the children about HIV/AIDS and read excerpts from her book. I reccommend anyone who has a teenage child, godchild, niece, nephew, what have you, should consider gifting them the book to enlighten them on the plight of latin america, the carribean, and quite possibly their own community. I know this is a gossip blog, but cut the political bias against the Bush family for a sec and give her props, much like you do for others who promote acceptance, tolerance, and healing…if you ever need a staffer to cover politics for you, I'm up for the job! thanx BE

He needs to address the ILLEGAL immigration issue, but it's kind of hard with the Democratic Congress blocking his every move and perverting every bill to fit their unrealistic socaialist utopia thereby making it unpassable. I wish he would have acted on it before the house and senate went through their disasterous elections. If we give up our sovereignty we lose everything.
His support for the McCain/Kennedy bill made me furious, but at the same time, we need a viable migrant worker program to help struggling farmers as well as the migrant workers…but they sure as hell should not have free reign in this country. American citizenship is not a right, it's a privilege. My parents own an orchard in Colorado and they play by the rules, but the rules have become so excessive that the small farmer can't compete. I guess i'll just turn to my guns, religion, "anti-immigrant" sentiment, and disdain for those who don't look like me.
