The New Prince Of Late Night

As we've known for a while now, when 2009 comes around, Jay Leno's contract is set to expire and he will be given a "forced retirement". In his place will be Conan O'Brien hosting the Tonight Show on NBC, starting in May '09.
So, who will be replacing O'Brien as host of Late Night??????
Rumor was it might be Jimmy Fallon. And, guess what? Reports are confirming it's true.
Fallon is said to be excited about taking over Conan's position. Duh!
NBC is set to make the formal announcement of Fallon joining the show around mid-May.
How does Carson Daly feel about the snub?????

Ugh. I used to like Fallon, long long ago. I liked him when everyone liked him, you know, when he was cute, and a fresh face to SNL. Yeah, that didn't last. I thought his career was over by now. I met him last year when he was at a show with Pete Townshend. He…. is really annoying. His "oh my god, look at me I'm so cute and shy and giggly" act is really old.
I wish this was a joke about him replacing Conan.
(Carson is also horrendous.)
Plus I heard he is on or has used coke regularly (I guess who hasn't in Hollywood these days) — but christ, he was just the worst on SNL. Try to get through one skit without laughing, dipshit.

OMG why? Jimmy Fallon is the unfunniest of unfunniest. Carson Daly does suck, but damn, Jimmy freaking Fallon? Of all the people in the world, why?
