I wouldnt let my child pose for Vanity Fair because I know personally how it can make you look. She was wearing something but the photo was made out to look like she was nude. Her parents should have paid better attention at the finished product but then again what they seen may be different from what was actually printed. You can't stop kids from watching modern day media. Hell, I was a kid myself, and went over to the tween neighbors house so we could watch Woodstock on TV. I rebelled through a "wave chick" phase, then punk rocker, then Goth-head- and now I've evolved into talk radio. You'd have to hole-up on a deserted island, even if you don't buy any fad merchandise, not to see it. We mostly watch Nickelodeon, and Miley was the "star attraction" for the Kids Choice Awards- you can't avoid some things! AND there's such a thing as word-of-mouth advertising- something's popular with some kids, and all the kids eventually become interested.

Honestly, I don't blame her. I blame her parents. She's 15. They should have known better. If VF had taken a picture of her and photoshopped it, i'd understand their excuse. HOWEVER, when your minor daughter is covered in a blanket, and obviously looking rolled-out-of-bed-half-naked, step up and say no. I don't see the "art" they thought it was anywhere.
