While most of his peers were at the Coachella music festival this past weekend, rocker Travis Barker was playing doting dad.
The hands-on father took his kids, Landon and Alabama, to the kiddie playground at the Malibu Country Mart and then for some lunch at Howdy's Mexican restaurant.
It's great that he's being a present and loving dad and all, but….EWWWWWW!
Put some shoes on your kids!

Why are they wearing pajamas? Even us "regular" people can afford real clothes for our kids - I wouldn't be caught dead running around with my kids wearing pjs in public!
In reply to #100; If you're that incompetent as a parent that you allow your child to throw a tantrum to get his way, good luck when they're teenagers. My advice is take charge now (in a loving way of course) and avoid the certain nightmares to come. My daughter would sometimes want to wear a spring dress in winter but it didn't happen.
I have two kids ages 5 and 9 and NEVER have I taken them out to run errands in their PJ's. I've seen other mom's out and about doing it but it's always a certain type (usually fat and unkept themselves). It's a class distinction, bottom line.
He probably fed them a nice healthy breakfast of Pop tarts and apple juice.
I agree with #102. The only acceptable place for pajamas outside of the home is the emergency room or if your house is burning down in the middle of the night and you have to wait out on the sidewalk for the fire dept.
I give Travis the benefit of the doubt. He doesn't know any better. He has no good child care giver giving him advice. His mom past away and his wife is a hoochie momma probably too busy choosing her own outfit to wear to tonights party in Vegas.

Leave him alone at least he is there with the kids not at home in bed like MOMMY. Those kids are very well taken care of who cares about the PJ's at least he has them outside and playing. They are kids let them be. Just ’cause he is famous doesn't mean that he can't act human.

Perez, most playgrounds come equipped with sandboxes. They were probably playing in it before this was taken. I doubt he just decided not to put shoe son them that day.
To all of you who are saying that Travis doesn't hang out with Atianna anymore, you should go to Celebrity Baby Blog. He is her father in every VALUABLE and TRUE sense of the word. There are some great pics on there of them…he goes on outings with Atianna, Landon, and Alabama quite frequently.

Re: Kelsey – well it isn't too normal for a celebrity…and isn' that the point of this website. We are merely pointing out that this is what we should see more of…no matter what father it is. Hats off to him. We don't know the whole story but I am sure that he makes every effort with all of his children but maybe the oldest daughter doesn't wantto spend a lot of time with him…it is pretty awkwardwhen there is a divorce. As for the PJs…who cares….they look like they are on a beach and maybe the beach is hot and maybe they are going out right before they go to bed…who knows. The bottom line is you don't usually see a normal guys with all those tough tattoos doing normal things and see that he has a very soft side too…THANK YOU TRAVIS! U ROCK!
