This is COMPLETELY FUCKED UP. I think there must be a law against this. It's virtually child abuse. It cannot be legal in the good ol' U. S. of A. to allow 15 year old girls to be subjected to this amount of verbal abuse/bullying by most who should no better. PEREZ you started this whole thing, you are responsible, you are trying to make it fashionable to put the girl down. Is this a godlike obsession you have developed? I'm 17 and I think that show is kinda stupid. But just because she likes that show it doesn't mean she's a slut. Are other teenage kids sluts for watching Degrassi? Or Desperate Housewives? I mean….come on. It's pretty down right stupid to call her a slut for liking a show. And she was dressed in the Vanity Fair pictures. I started watching Sex and the City at 13 and I've had no problems with it. I mean, yes, my parents and I had a good dialog about sex but I'm currently 15 myself and actually haven't done anything sexual at all. I guess if teens let what they see on TV go to their heads, then it will affect them, but if you're smart about it, it's just another entertaining show. I grew up with HBO, in fact all of my favorite shows are on HBO, and I turned out just fine.

I think this is all a load of crap and ppl need better stuff to talk about! At that age, you are in the process of becoming an adult. She's a TEEN for crying out loud! Calling a young woman a "slut" for watching a specific television show or creating photographs in a conscious, discussed environment that were agreed upon before media furor created the need for Miley to be "ashamed" of them is BULLSHIT. I don't think she is too young to be watching repeat Sex and the City shows that come on TBS. TBS takes all of the nasty out, and makes it suitable for teens and up. When Sex in the City came out I was Miley's age and I watched it on HBO, and I am not a HO or slutty. I just thought it was entertaining and it was nothing new. Every one in High school was like a mini-sammantha already.

I would like to say as a 15 year old girl that it is NOT innapropiate to watch Sex and the City. It is actually my favorite show too and have watched every episode and now constantly counting down the days until the movie. In this country or just the media market is that 15 year olds in school have been taught about sex and things that go beyond sexuality. We need to learn how to accept sex and not hide from it, if people would like to keep that private thats great. But in order for girls not to get pregnant and learn safe sex maybe there wouldn't be so many girls experimenting and being so clueless. Its not just about that the show is about sex but its also about the friendships and the truth that we all girls can relate to matter if we are virgins or not. So I would like to say is Miley is acting her age and we need to get the little girl image out of our heads and let her make herself who she is and not influence on how she needs to be. If she is constantly told who she has to be, she will end up like Britney. We just have to let her be, and thats how her parents want to raise her, being an independent yound woman.
