Miley Cyrus has got everyone's panties in a bunch!
Now, Christian groups are demanding that Disney reprimand the tween star.
The Christian Coalition of America (CCA) wants Cyrus to be held accountable for the semi-topless photos she just had published in Vanity Fair.
Michele Combs, a representative of CCA, tells says, "Disney should reprimand her. Miley should say it was a mistake and that kids have to be very careful at such a young age. Kids look up to her. Something needs to be done."
And they want the apology made during a televised press conference.
Combs goes on to say that photographer Annie Leibovitz has "a reputation for doing racy things. Miley should have thought this out before she agreed to go in front of Annie."
Combs, and the CCA are very disappointed and saddened by the photos, and the recently provocative internet photos.
She adds, "She was the one person out there who everyone seemed to trust. She should have been more thoughtful. If she's gonna go out there and represent wholesome values, she needs to be more accountable for her actions."
Oh, please. We bet she knows very well what she was doing. She was obviously happy and smiling throughout the photo shoot.
It's all a calculated move to get more famous!

There are sicko's out there who get off on young girls like this. I think it is highly inappropriate, and may be provoking thoughts and actions in those sicko's. She may (unknowingly) be leading someone to act on those thoughts, and hurt an innocent child. NO 15 year old should be naked in between sheets for pictures, especially not one whom many of our young children look up to. Bottom Line!

I think Miley and her parents are both responsible, but I'm more shocked that her parents would allow it to happen. True, she is only 15, but I think she has proven that she is treated more like an adult that she really is. I think it's a shame, because everyone needs to remember, it's not really other 15 year old girls that look up to her, it's girls MUCH younger that don't know any better than to emulate their favorite stars. I have 2 nieces that I took to her concert, ages 4 and 6, and they ADORE 'Hannah'. I think it's pretty sad that when I try to pull up a youtube video of a Hannah song on my iphone, I get still-frames of her kissing another girl, and now I'm sure one of her semi-topless. Her fans are FAR too impressionable for her to be doing things like this.

Look, it's an inappropriate shot to take of a fifteen year old. Annie Leibowitz and Vanity Fair probably should have exercised better judgment. However, if you go to VF's website it is quite clear that her parent's were there THE WHOLE TIME. Both of them- Mom and Dad. I actually think a lot of the shots were oversexed. But obviously Miley's parents didn't object, Miley didn't object, so I think VF and Leibowitz are the last people to blame. These reactions are a little bit overboard. I get that she is an idol to young kids, my 4 year old worships her - down to wearing the stupid wig & t shirts. However, we know way too much about all celebrities nowadays and worry too much about every freaking thing they do.
All these parents are up in arms because Miley is supposed to be this perfect role model for their kids. I think it is generally in poor taste for a major magazine to run with a bedheaded, half-naked teen as a cover shot. I also think people are overreacting in general.
Think of it this way: most of us probably played spin the bottle and those however minutes in the closet game at Miley's age. The only difference is that no one was taking pictures or adding videos to YouTube afterwards. I know a few non-celeb teens who have been posted similar silly pictures of themselves with friends online. I don't think it's terribly shocking or means they are "slutty." They;re just kids who don't fully grasp their own sexuality and how others perceive them.
