Miley Cyrus has got everyone's panties in a bunch!
Now, Christian groups are demanding that Disney reprimand the tween star.
The Christian Coalition of America (CCA) wants Cyrus to be held accountable for the semi-topless photos she just had published in Vanity Fair.
Michele Combs, a representative of CCA, tells says, "Disney should reprimand her. Miley should say it was a mistake and that kids have to be very careful at such a young age. Kids look up to her. Something needs to be done."
And they want the apology made during a televised press conference.
Combs goes on to say that photographer Annie Leibovitz has "a reputation for doing racy things. Miley should have thought this out before she agreed to go in front of Annie."
Combs, and the CCA are very disappointed and saddened by the photos, and the recently provocative internet photos.
She adds, "She was the one person out there who everyone seemed to trust. She should have been more thoughtful. If she's gonna go out there and represent wholesome values, she needs to be more accountable for her actions."
Oh, please. We bet she knows very well what she was doing. She was obviously happy and smiling throughout the photo shoot.
It's all a calculated move to get more famous!

Not a surprise. Everything she does is calculated to be titillating and provocative - INCLUDING talking so openly about her virginity pledges and such. I love the way she copped out and blamed the photographer.
I say who fucking cares! Everyone is freaking out over a fucking picture! It's Annie Leibowitz! I would freaking stand naked on the cover for her! She's an amazing photographer and give me a break, but her parents knew what the photos were going to look like and who cares! Both photoshoots were specifically done provocatively to create exactly the kind of buzz that we are all talking about and reading. To the grownups, its business. To the girls, it is a way to show their tits and asses and be all innocent and "artistic" knowing full well that there are men and boys (and women) wanking to the pics. Just more ickiness that is inherent in the human species.
I do not think the pictures are that horribly bad if u saw the behind the scene photos she had jeans on and the sheet she was wearing came all the way around her it just hung low and was huge. If anyone is to blame it is her parents though. Miley is 15 years old and her parents should have just let her be a normal child as much as she wanted to be in show bussiness. The shot in itself is tamer than 99% of the material out there (celebrity porn, anyone), but she's only FIFTEEN. Why would any sane parent give consent for their child to appear semi-nude on a magazine? This is definitely at odds with her so called "squeaky clean image". She is a 15 year old girl who is fame-hungry and doesn't want to be held accountable for every 12-16 year old girl in the country and the decisions they make. Who can blame her?
She may not have been showing her breasts in that photo, but with no hint of clothing to be seen, and wrapped up in what clearly is meant to be a bedsheet screams "F**K ME". It has a very sexual vibe, even if it isnt overt.
A girl of 15 probably shouldn't be having sex or advertising herself as a sex object…which is what these photos are doing. There is a reason why statuatory rape laws exist. Sure, 15 is the age when most young girls are discoverng their sexual side and their sexual powers, but its usually in private, to themselves, posing in front of their mirrors in their underwear. Miley shouldn't be presenting herself as a sex object at this age - unfortunately many young girls will see that and internalize that it is ok to put their sexuality on dispay or perhaps even engage in sexual activities before they are truly old enough to handle the responsibilites and emotional consequenses.
I do think Miley knew what she was doing and is being forced to apologize - she probably knew it would garner her even more publicity, wants to not be viewed as such a good girl, and is trying to express her sexuality despite being too young to do so appropriately. In my opinion Miley is probably already sexually active.
Everyone is overreacting. What's the big deal? All they show is her back. If she's wearing a backless dress, no one says anything. As for the Christians…hey, God brought you into the world naked, he must think there is something alright with the human body.
