According to a new poll from The Associated Press and Ipsos….
If the U.S. presidential were held today, Hillary Clinton would beat John McCain by a 9-point margin, 50 percent to 41 percent.
The poll shows that when Barack Obama faces McCain, the two are statistically tied — though, Obama holds a two point edge over McCain, within the poll's margin of error.
If Hillary can produce these same numbers after the North Carolina and Indiana primaries, she has a really strong case for the Democratic nomination, right?

I voted for Obama and now seriously wish I hadn't. All I knew at the time was that he was for change and that Oprah liked him. After the last few months I realized that he's not anything new or different than the others…he just has less experience and shady issues! I feel ripped off and wish I could vote again!

There are many people who think that the clintons paid Rev Jeremiah Wrong to make his grandiose speach yesterday in order to reflect badly on Obama. Her account is suposedly in the red so she may have put a lot into trying to pay him to just open his mouth because when he does only stupid things come out. It is interesting that they did a poll shortely after the speach don't you think? which shows Hillary doing better against Mcain. They don't have to pay him direct it could be through a third party.
SO, let me get this straight, for like, 60 days, Obama has beaten McCain in almost every poll. And yesterday, ONE poll shows that Hillary would do better against McCain - and THAT's news??
Ugh. Once you again you prove that you have no clue what you are talking about. The poll you mention (I can show you 50 other polls showing that Obama is by far the stronger candidate, but I'll let that pass for now) is a national poll, but we select our President based on electoral votes; you have to win states. Gore won the popular vote, but lost the electoral vote; George W. Bush nearly did the same thing in 2004. When it comes to states that are in play (and I don't mean NY and CA, both of which either Clinton or Obama would easily win), Obama has the clear advantage.
One other thing is that that poll fails to take into account HOW Clinton would win the nomination for such a scenario to take place. In a fantasy world where she is magically the nominee, those numbers may be accurate; but in the real world where the only way for her to win would be to overturn the will of the people, those numbers would not be accurate, as many people would not vote for her if she stole the nomination.
Please stop talking about things about which you have no idea.
