Miley has received excessive media coverage, bringing her name into households everywhere.
We're getting sick talking about her!!!!
As for the magazine responsible for the "racy" photo shoo, Vanity Fair's website was so overwhelmed with millions of people logging on to view the photos, that the site crashed Monday.
It also had over four million people visit the site that day, about half of the traffic PerezHilton.com gets in one day. Ha!
Obviously people care about Slutty Cyrus!
And the photos continue to to get reactions out of everyone. (See below)
As for Miley and her parents, a source said that "Her parents are mortified. A situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old."

This is getting ridiculous.
If you go to Vanity Fair's website and look at the candid photos from the shoot you can see this entire debacle from a completely different point of view. In viewing the photo above it looks like Miley is sitting completely naked in a bed. It does have very sexual overtones, I would never deny that.
However, when you view the photos from the shoot you see that she is sitting on a stool, in front of a back drop, outside, with pants on. Also in every one of those pictures the sheet is always up to her neck and never that low on her back. I can completely understand why the Cyrus family and their respective people may not have expected this photo as a result of the shoot. Given what I saw, I sure wouldn't have.
If anyone should be criticized its the people at Vanity Fair for its painstakingly obvious that they are capitalizing off of all the other controversy surrounding her recently. Anything to sell mags and get traffic on their site.
Everyone keeps calling her the next Britney and if people keep saying all the things they do and turning on her, that very well may come true. We all had a hand in what happened to Britney and I would hope that after watching that poor woman fall completely apart to a less that sympathetic public audience, we would learn from our mistakes.
These are people that portray an image for a living. If it were up to me I would do away with Hollywood all together but that can't happen. So instead we should all try a little harder to understand that the person we see on television or in concert is indeed a real person playing another person and at some point he/she needs to be separated from who they play or what they do. MILEY CYRUS IS NOT HANNAH MONTANA! SHE JUST PLAYS HER ON TELEVISION. Britney came to a point where she could no longer separate who she was from who she was supposed to be playing for the public and coupled with a mental illness it all got very out of control very quickly. And we should have been there for her. We should have been apologizing to her, not making money off of her turmoil.
Miley is young, yes. But go look at Myspace. There are 12-17 year olds posted all over that site trying to act/appear way older than they actually are. I don't see sites dedicate to calling them sluts. Because she has a television show she no longer has feelings and a self esteem? She can no longer err and make silly rash teenage decisions? Having celebrity status makes no one perfect and at least she has admitted to her mistakes. Didn't it take Lindsay (a 21 year old) months to admit that the coke in her pants was actually hers. Miley is already showing more maturity in owning up to her actions and admitting to her mistakes, what more do you want?
