The new Sex and The City movie will not be premiering in "The City"!
The movie is set to premier in London's Leicester Square on May 12th., which is two weeks before its New York City release.
What gives????
A New Line spokesperson said, "London will be much smaller. It was simply a question of logistics and scheduling. The whole cast isn't even going."
Those not attending in London include Chris Noth (Mr. Big) and Jennifer Hudson.
Not like anyone would miss them though.
The rep adds, "We're still planning the big premiere to be in New York. Everyone knows New York City is the fifth character. The city is the epicenter of all things 'Sex and the City.' "
The New York premier is set for Tuesday, May 27th at the Radio City Music Hall. It will be followed by an after party at the Museum of Modern Art. The party will benefit Caroline Kennedy's "The Fund for Public Schools."
Damn, New Line is going out of business and they just don't have their shit together!

Women who like this show just watch it B/C there is nothing to compete with. None of the women are attractive, so it makes us feel secure. No Kelly Bundy on this show.
Perez, you should be in business advising these movie moguls. Absolutely right that they COMPLETELY missed the PR boat by opening this movie anywhere but NYC.
