I understand the political point behind this video and the message it is trying to portray, but I think it is unethical to produce something like this. It t is provocative enough to get mass attention, but unfortunately this video may be seen and interpreted differently by impressionable youth around the world. I find it hard to believe that a young man, being brought up in the type of environment that is portrayed in the video, will be able to disregard the glorification of the violence and see the true meaning behind it. This video is inspiring….but not in a good way. A simple directing edit with some sort of retribution for the actions of the young men in the video would solve the problem, yet no "Justice" is shown, and that sends the wrong message.

I AM SO Disappointed with justice, after Dance i expect something better, not only is this music EXTREMELY painful to listen to, the video is just glorifying european gang life, and it makes me think… all these ppl leave their countries for france just to start ruckus in europe???? This video is meant to be provocative. It shows how bad things have gotten in parts of France, especially in the outskirts of Paris. There, tensions between groups of people have led to increased crime, violence and riots over the years. There are many groups of young people who express their contempt for the government and the social status they are confined to. Their actions are truly scary. The video certainly does not promote violence, it just shows what is actually going on in the world.
This Video portays human scum with black jackets. These kids need to be incarcerated or incinerated, whichever comes first. People wonder why the world is more violent and the kids don't respect authority. Wonder no more! You have the answer.

I love how the french don't shy away from the issue. This is a very provocative video that's meant to get a reaction… and from the posts I can see that it succeded! Brilliant conversation starter.
This portrays the ghettos of Paris, the "banlieu" where there is violence like this every day. One scene is filmed in the center of Paris at Sacre Coeur in Montmartre, but for the most part, it's in the banlieu. These kids are the same ones who riot, burn cars, etc. which was especially bad in October 2005 when then defense-minister, now President, Nicholas Sarkozy called people who lived in the ghetto "racailles", a racist term that means "hooligans."

The point is….most young tweens/teens see the video for what it is…glorified violence, NOT ART. Most adults can see it better with an open mind if a hidden message is being portrayed. But a child's brain from 10-14 yrs. has not completely developed and they are the impressionable ones that should not be seeing this. It's not about knowing what is right or wrong, but getting the whole concept of the video and it's meaning. From a kid's perspective of this video they would interpret a gang of friends, full of hate, revenge, beatings, laughing and the appearance of being cool. MTV would not even show this video on the air for that purpose. That's why they have movie ratings. Sex, drugs, violence, etc. is difficult for a young person to comprehend the full extent of it.

Ok so Justice is lucky that they're European cos this video would definitely not be aired anywhere on American TV. European tv is way different and does allow explicit content like this. I love Justice. They're music is awesome - DVNO is like my favorite song. However, this video is definitely disturbing. I wanted so bad to stop watching but it's one of those things you can't help but look at. I don't think doing this kind of video was the smartest way to display any kind of "stress" but it's out there and i guess if enough people protest against it there's a chance they may have to re-shoot another video.

Re: Audrina – Are they addressing it? From the video, it looks like nothing is being done about it. If anything, that's the real horror in the clip. As well as the mere fact that it can never really be stopped, but is far more easily perpetuated, and then transferred all over the world via the media.

A lot of you just aren't getting the real point of the video. Justice is a CHRISTIAN band. They would never actually promote violence. They did their video very well because they wanted a reaction like this. They want you to think that it is absolutely disgusting and horrible what happened. It's exactly what they want because THEY think it's horrible too.
This isn't against blacks. They had both blacks and whites showing equality in destruction. They showed both blacks and whites trying to stop things and also who were victimized. They're showing that everyone is effected by this senseless violence.
Of course there isn't retribution! It's showing that in our society we are not doing enough to stop these people. We're letting them go commit even more crimes. Don't you guys see it?? It's sad. It's horribly sad and they see it too. It's senseless violence. Of course it is. But they are trying to get you to be horrified and try and do something about it. See what is going on right in front of your eyes.

this is the first time i ever comment on anything on your page perez, i usually just looove reading up on great gossip haha, but i gotta say that this video really gave me the creeps, i was expecting for the beat to change, i was even expecting like a dance off a la "beat it" haha this is sooo not like "beat it", not even on crack, lsd, heroin or x. i agree with what the majority is saying. Random acts of violence do not make a music video, this only expresses uncontrollable agression….i get that it reflects "stress" and what the world is going through right now, i got that vibe, but i just didn't enjoy the video at all, not like other Justice videos…it's like they took a youtube video of teenage kids commiting random violent acts and added a beat….
