Pregnant woman busted for DUI… again
Nicole VanNeil is just a year over the legal drinking age, but already has four arrests for driving under the influence.
In the latest case, Hillsborough Sheriff’s Deputies say VanNeil was eight months pregnant when she was pulled over and failed her field sobriety test.
VanNeil’s bulging belly can be seen on video taken from the deputies dash cam. She later refused to take both a urine and breath test and was also charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Her previous DUI arrests came in February of 2004, April of 2005, and a month later in May of 2005. All three of those DUI arrest happened before her 21st birthday.

As someone who is happily four months pregnant, I think that this girl should have her tubes tied. I don't understand why young girls cannot wrap their brains around birth control. If you are going to get wasted while you are pregnant, save us all the trouble and just have an abortion!

My friend is a Kindergarten teacher. Whenever she gets a kid with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, the kid suffers terribly in class. Their nervous systems are so fucked they are unable to control movement of their bodies, so they basically 'sit' in class all day, every day, experiencing convulsions, shaking and involuntary muscle movement that they cannot control. These kids are fully aware of how different they are, yet can do absolutely nothing to change it. The damage is already done.
I also believe addiction is a disease, but my compassion goes to the kid who has to go through life like that, not to the twat who wrecked it.

Wow Roxy, Christian much? I in fact am one to judge. My mother drank while pregnant with me and my brothers. Disease? Please.. just an excuse. Her child will grow up to hate her like my family to my mom. How on earth can you feel sorry for someone who risks their own life, their unborn child's, and other innocent people on the road? It appears most comments refer to her being drunk. This woman was high - if you watch the video that accompanies the article, she was arrested for DUI of marijuana, and they found plenty of paraphenalia in her vehicle as well.
do you know that if the baby is born and tests clean then she will get her baby and there wont be any charges. when she goes to jail,then cps will step in but the hospital has to let the kid go

What have we done as a society when we have started making excuses for a pregnant woman to be drinking and driving? You'd probably wouldn't be making excuses for her if she hit your car or harmed your child. And did anyone watch Nancy Grace last night? When the media confronted her about the police video, VanNeil stared crying and called her mom because she was upset that the video was released. WTH? And because the baby wasn't born, there isn't anything the police can pin on her for child endangerment or drinking excessively while pregnant. Welcome to the world, you cute, innocent, little baby! Wonder how it feels to be screwed over by the world before your even born!

This woman needs a hysterectomy ASAP after her baby is born. I really feel sorry for the kid. They deserve someone they should be proud of to call "mom". I hope Children's Services takes the kid away and gives it a stable and loving family.

I am not supporting the horrible things this girl has done or drinking while pregnant but just wanted to say that getting drunk "one time" before knowing you're pregnant would not, alone, cause fetal alcohol syndrome or "diform" the child. Sounds like this "girl" you know should 'fess up if her child truly has fetal alcohol syndrome.
This woman is obviously an alcoholic not a whore(well maybe). She is a woman with a treatable disease- considering the l women we see on this site ( Paris and Kim anyone- those are whores) who are drunks and whores in the spot light and on camera daily - why don't you call those girls whores?
