The diva raged this weekend!
There was a bit of a technical malfunction at Kanye West's concert in Houston on Friday night.
And he ended up walking off the stage in a tantrum!
Multiple concertgoers tell PerezHilton.com that the side screens that the venue had to show Kanye weren't working - they weren't the massive screens that were part of his show.
Kanye told the venue to "Turn the fucking screens off" first. And when no one did anyhting, he stoped the show and said "If the shits not working just turn it off" and stormed off!
After about a minute he came back onstage and finished the show.
We're told the concert was amazing, though, despite the malfunction.

Alot of people mention Kanye's inflated ego (and yes I think he might be divalicious at time), but does anyone mention the ego and audacity of other entertainers? He speaks his mind and although I don't always agree with some things he may say, sometimes he does make alot of sense and mentions things that most people are actually thinking but won't say outloud!

I was at this show, and they did have some malfunctions with the screens, and he did go off at the mouth, but he never walked off stage.. he stood there until tey turned them off and then continued the show.

I was there and it was still awesome. It was funny when it happened because I didn't really believe how sensitive he was about his art until then. Yeah he was the only person on stage most of the time but the audience loved it. We cheered him on when he told the tech people to turn the screens off. It was distracting to see the blue glare of the screens. He was right in stopping the show. it was cool though b/c he started right where he left off. I loved it. NERD was awesome too by the way.

omg…i was there last night with my friends and i must say that Rihanna was so much better than Kanye. It was an awesome concert all in all…and the screens not working was just whatever. he threw a tantrum…walked off stage…and then came back on when they turned the screens off. but i mean they were glowing blue while he was trying to have all the lights and crap with his own stage set up…so i totally understand. everyone around me thought it was hilarious and just started screaming and yelling as soon as he walked back on. amazing! and it was perfect that the rain waited until the concert ended!!!

KANYE WEST IS NOT A DIVA.
I was at this show in Houston last night, third row center and witnessed the whole thing. Kanye put a tremendous amount of work into developing an epic and unforgettable show for his fans. The two screens on either side of the stage were broken, and blaring a bright blue screen. It was extremely distracting from his amazing stage set up, so yeah, he got a little pissed that the tech guys couldn't get their shit straight. He reserves the right to be a perfectionist at his own show. This is the best concert that I have ever been to, and Kanye West is a creative and artistic entertainer.

Lupe did perform his own set at the beginning of the concert, but sadly, it was short. He started early, around 6:50 p.m. He performed about seven songs, including Daydreamin, Hip Hop Saved My Life, Kick Push, and Superstar. A huge surprise was when he brought Bun B of UGK out to the stage and they wrecked it for a while.

I went to the concert in Dallas on thursday, and it was amazing. Probably one of the best concerts I have ever been to. The screens played a big part of the show, so for him to do what he did and walk off for a minutes was probably the best thing to do for the whole show itself.
fuckin kanye. He's all glitz and glamour, and he's talented and artsy as hell!, but where's the heart? why the hell's he gotta be such a baby. embrace the inner punk rock my friend.

I was at the houston show and "just a guy" is wrong, i've been to concerts around the world, Mexico City, Tokyo, Dubai, and many other palces and yet i have i seen someone be able to entertain a crowd. Kanye took his show very seriously it was emotional and inspiring. The crowd listened to his every word, when hards were asked to be raised or lyrics asked to be sang the crwod acted as if it was a life or death situation. Kanye's stage was amazing and the backgrouds produced by hype were incredicble. Chris brown was at the show and danced on staged with N.E.R.D.. i guess this confirms the rumors of huim and rihanna being a couple!!!!! The venue was empty for lupe fisaco and started to fill for N.E.R.D., by rihanna all seats were taken. Her vocals were live and she sounded amazing. The crowd was waiting for Kanye for quite some time but his enterance was amazing. It was after the first song when he asked for the screens to be turned off in a nice manner. He asked several times nicely for the screens to be turned off, after asking about 5 times he lost his patience and stoped the band! Tyhe crowd was going crazy in support of Kanye, they wanted to concert to be perfect! As soon as the encore ended Kanye had his bus pull up to the stage and take him to his hotel. A lot of other celebrties and rappers were at the venue, it seemed as almost a reunion of celebrities.
I used to admire him when he stood up for himself and the black community by making the "Bush hates black people" comment. He was right and he was also right about the music awards being a joke. HOWEVER, he is now turning into a whining little bitch who throws tantrums like a little kid. If he actually wants to be taken seriously he needs to grow up and stop thinking that the world revolves around him. He has a chip on his shoulder and may I suggest a few visits to the local psychologist to work on his issues?
I WAS AT THE CONCERT. First off, it was amazing. Everyone leading up to Kanye did a good job and the pavillion was packed. When Kanye went on the big screens on each side of the stage (which are meant to give a better view of the presenter to the people with "lawn" seats) were all bright blue and ruined the stage set up when the whole pavillion was supposed to be blacked out. It was giving the stage a tacky look and Kanye was just trying to give a good performance and give us what we paid for so thats why he was telling them to fix it. when he walked off everyone was laughing and rooting. ITS KANYE WEST! he walked back on about 30 seconds later and continued with the show.. which later on they finially got the screens working. "dont give me something to talk shit about" as kanye said. it was an amazing concert so stop hating.

I was there too, and it wasn't that big of a deal. The effing screens went blue, and it was annoying to look at so he was pissed and told the video guys to turn the shit off. I'd be pissed too if I spent a shitload of $ to make my show different and the technical guys can't get it right. Regardless, amazing performance.

when i went to see kanye in Nottingham in the UK at the beginning of the show there was a minor technical problem that we hardly even noticed until kanye threw his microphone on the floor and started swearing.
