The diva raged this weekend!
There was a bit of a technical malfunction at Kanye West's concert in Houston on Friday night.
And he ended up walking off the stage in a tantrum!
Multiple concertgoers tell PerezHilton.com that the side screens that the venue had to show Kanye weren't working - they weren't the massive screens that were part of his show.
Kanye told the venue to "Turn the fucking screens off" first. And when no one did anyhting, he stoped the show and said "If the shits not working just turn it off" and stormed off!
After about a minute he came back onstage and finished the show.
We're told the concert was amazing, though, despite the malfunction.

Yeah it was soooo cool that Chris Brown was there.
During N.E.R.D they began to pull people up from the crowd to "mosh" and instead it became a dance off….
Well my boyfriend made a comment that the guy in the black hat really knew how to dance and I said yeah he looks like Chris Brown! Then N.E.R.D was like GIVE IT UP for Chris Brown!!! It was amazing, he is a great dancer I could not even believe it!
Yeah Kanye was a jerk for going off stage because of teh screens but he put on a great show and he has a lot of talent- great voice and most of him lyrics have deeper meaning than the surface. Super cool!! I would totally go see him again in a heart beat!
i was about 20 rows back and he did walk off the stage….and he was right for doing it…..id be pissed too…..fuck this site…perez hilton you a fag…get a real job
I think his ego is much larger than his talent and I also think he knows it. Lenny Kraviz is much more talented than Kanye ever will be.
I was at the concert. I didn't think it was ego, I thought it was good showmanship when he made the pavillion turn off the screens. It was truly distracting, and once they were off, everyone applauded him because it made the concert much better. They eventually got the screens working a few songs later, but frankly, I think the pavillion should have turned those screens off as a standard protocol until they got them working, rather than forcing Kanye to stop the show because they weren't listening.
Im thinking a wood chisel and an ax handle to this morons head should fix the problem.

I was at the show Friday. It was ok, but it left me wondering when Kayne was going to come out of the closet. He is a biger drama quenn than I am.
OMG!! There will always be haters ~ haters that dwell on other haters ~ haha!! I don't care what all y'all haters say about Kanye! He definitely brought the show to Houston! That was by far one of the best concerts I have ever been to! He has a BIG EGO BECAUSE HE IS ONE OF THE GREATEST RAPPERS, HIP HOP ARTISTS, AND SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED FOR HIS TALENTS AND AWESOME BEATS, ETC.. All ya biaaatches can whine and whine about Kanye being a baby, Kanye this, Kanye that…What have you accomplished?? besides hatin' on another person's talents! Something y'all obviously don't have! lol. He wants his shows to be Perfect, that's the way every Artist should be with their performances. Nobody wants to see a 1/2 azz job! We pay money to see good shows, and that's what Kanye gives you! And anyone who says his show was boring?? uhhh….maybe you spent the whole night in the Restroom? lol. BUT OVERALL HOUSTON LOVED KANYE, AND KANYE did get the crowd goin all night! Everybody from all walks of life came to the show, I saw with my own eyes ;o) There was a group of ladies in their 50's in front of us, they weren't there with their Kids, they were there because they liked KANYE! even a CEO went with his wife, and their well into their early 60's, he says his wife wanted to see KANYE, so they went and enjoyed the show! haha. Ya just can't beat that! lol. And for him gettin' pissed about the Screens, PROPS to Kanye for that! ONE KANYE FAN FOR LIFE IN HOUSTON!!!

I was at the concert and actually have that part recorded on my camera that I snuck in. The first time he actually said "You all better get these fucking screens working" because it did look pretty whack to be honest. Wouldn't you be upset if the audience wans't getting what they paid for? After he walked off stage during the song, they turned off the screens and did the whole song over again. He did his thing and it was Krunk, no doubt. That technical bs can happen and it was humid and hott as hell at the concert, so its understandable. Whoever is talking smack shut your mouth because that concert was sick!
This has to be the angriest man in the world…Be a man Kanye, not everyone feels about you what you feel about you! A real man would take critisim for what it is..an opionion…not you…Oh, no you think everyone HAS TO Like you or they are an idiot….You are a disgrace. You call what you do art…wow! And walking off the stage in Houston…not cool, not professional..take some notes from the real pros: Janet Jackson (class act) Beyonce Knowles (CLASS ACT), John Legend though I am not a fan (class act), Justin Timeberlake I am not a fan of his AT ALL…But he is a class act…A real man. And for the record you are not the only entertainer who cares that the fans have their best time ever. Caught the Chelsea Handler show also in Houston May 3, 2008…she is a Class Act! The real pros roll with the pushes not start the pushes…wow! you are truly something else…don’t know what else but you are something…!
You need some anger management classes or something…I hear from people who have attended your over hyped show that it really deserves a C- or less! Grow up little mad man…! Love God first Put God first and the rest will follow! And the best part you will not have to tell people you are the greatest…They will know it by your walk…not your angry outburst or rap talk..!

If I was giving a show for MY FANS WHO DESERVE A FLAWLESS SHOW SINCE THEY SHELLED OUT MAJOR BUCKS FOR TICKETS, I would be pissed too if the LARGE PROJECTION SCREENS didn't work for my show, especially since the pavillion KNEW HE WAS COMING. Their screens were faulty, he deserves to be pissed about his fans gettin a half ass show due to the inadequacies of the venue in which he performed. The same thing happened in Sacramento but no "diva-like" behavior has been reported on that one… hmmm… wonder if this is all BULLSHIT.
All you haters would be pissed of your equipment wasn't working during an event as large as this one. ESPECIALLY if it was not your fault.
I was at the GITD concert in Seattle. BEST.DAMN.SHOW.PERIOD. All of the acts brought their best.
