Heck yeah that's too old for a bottle. She should have transitioned to a sippy cup a year ago. I've seen this before with celeb children, though.

  2. Robin says – reply to this

    102

yes, doctors say a child should be off the bottle at 1 yr old

  3. Lola says – reply to this

    103

Who are the idiots on here? There's no hard and fast rule on kids and bottles - it's different from kid to kid, family to family, and culture to culture. Two and drinking out of a bottle is perfectly normal.

  4. Katie Rude says – reply to this

    104

Um yes….my son isn't even 2 yet and he's drinking from a cup!

  5. Lindsey says – reply to this

    105

Thank you! I thought the same thing yesterday. She should have stopped with that bottle MONTHS ago.

  6. writergirl says – reply to this

    106

No, it's not. No child (that I've ever known) has ever gone off to college with a bottle. Well, not that type.

Now that my children are older I wish I'd been less nuts about things like that. Something that is comforting is not a bad thing.

  7. blah says – reply to this

    107

    Man you are stupid.

  8. charlotte says – reply to this

    108

I work at a daycare and that's very old to be drinking from a bottle!!! At that age she should be drinking from a regular cup!!!

  9. BARF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! says – reply to this

    109

i'VE BEEN SICK OF LOOKING AT THAT KID SUCKING ON A FUCKING BOTTLE FOR A YEAR NOW.

  10. nikki says – reply to this

    110

    yes :)

  11. charlotte says – reply to this

    111

Get Suri off the bottle.Give her a cup already.

  12. Joanna says – reply to this

    112

Yes she is way too old by know she is suppose to be in the middle of potty training!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. melly cat says – reply to this

    113

YES!! put down the bottle and give the kid a cup!

  14. MY KIDS BETTER THAN THEIR KID says – reply to this

    114

    YES…

by about a YEAR. My daughter was off bottles at 8 months.

Shes going to have messed up teeth. Dont worry though, TomKat, they fall out anyway.

  15. Bridgette DeCastro says – reply to this

    115

ABSOLUTELY! Children should be OFFf the bottle shortly after their first bottle. I'm so glad somebody finally pointed that out!!!!!!!!!

  16. Jamie says – reply to this

    116

Are we surprised that it would take her a little longer to let go? Yeah, some of you may have quit after one year but you also didn't have to deal with 30 people with cameras jumping out of bushes either.

  17. caligurl says – reply to this

    117

Hell yeah that's too old. That child should have given that bottle up a year ago!!

  18. YesShesTooOld says – reply to this

    118

My main concern is where are the adopted 2 children of his? Did he & Nicole give them back?

  19. SICK says – reply to this

    119

Her fingers are longer than mine and she's still taking the nipple. GAG ME!

  20. cindy says – reply to this

    120

My son got all of his teeth by 19 months and his mouth was always hurting. He could barely eat anything some days. We didn't take away the bottle until 27 months because of his delayed eating. Some kids have bottles until they are 2 1/2 to 3.

  21. ali says – reply to this

    121

Yes way too long. She should have been off months ago

  22. K says – reply to this

    122

We just had a 500 post thread on this subject matter - give it a rest perez! You'll do anything for hits - even if it means picking on Cruise twice on the same exact suject matter. If all of those same loonies start carrying on about this subject matter again - I think everyone is in need of upping their meds.

  23. neenster says – reply to this

    123

yes… but that is the LEAST of the psychological worries we all have about little Suri.

  24. Abby says – reply to this

    124

yes, I noticed that a few months ago. My daughters were off the bottle at one/. Maybe that is just what they do in their "religion."

  25. wren says – reply to this

    125

    yes

  26. Lindsay M says – reply to this

    126

YES!!! It is not psychologically, or physically good for a child that age to be drinking from a bottle!!!
Of course, they don't believe in psychology, so whatever.
She is going to have some serious oral fixation issues.
    Stupid scientology!

  27. Emma Goldman says – reply to this

    127

No, it's not too old. I am glad they are going with what feels right to her and not making parenting decisions based on what others think.

  28. Mariah Carey says – reply to this

    128

I still suck on my bottle. And I'm like in my 30's or something. God I'm such a skanky whore. Someone please shoot me in the throat.

  29. wayneee says – reply to this

    129

Nah, it's no big deal. I've got 3 kids and they all stop at different times. No need to push her. Unless Xenu says so.

  30. Heather says – reply to this

    130

I have two kids, age 3 and 5 and every pediatrician will tell you that your baby should be off the bottle by 12 months and moved on to sippy cups.

  31. Mother says – reply to this

    131

Yeah. My daughter is 8 months and already can drink out of a sippy cup. She still takes a bottle, but when she's around a year she will be weaned off. It's not good for their teeth!

  32. DWJ says – reply to this

    132

No seriously, I was wondering when someone was going to say something. She is too old to still have a bottle. If you can ask for the milk then you can drink from a cup.

  33. Tori says – reply to this

    133

He annoys me too but that is perfectly normal except for all the perfect moms whose children are already talking fluently, potty trained and never throw tantrums all at the ripe old age of two

  34. R says – reply to this

    134

    Yes, it's way too old.

  35. 2 YR OLDS DON'T SUCK ON BOTTLES says – reply to this

    135

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THAT THIS KID IS STILL CARRYING AROUND A FUCKING BOTTLE.

  36. Bridgette DeCastro says – reply to this

    136

ABSOLUTELY! She should be off the bottle shortly after her first birthday. I'm so glad somebody finally pointed that out. That's HORRIBLE for her teeth and speech!

  37. Emily says – reply to this

    137

that makes me wonder if she is still breast feeding? i think the better question is does tom make katie let him breast feed???? :P

  38. tina says – reply to this

    138

she should be drinking from a sippy cup. she has teeth and a bottle is bad for her teeth. let her grow up

  39. Axxcexx says – reply to this

    139

Some kids just drink milk if is giving to them in a bottle but drink everything else in sippy cup… Doesn't matter, the only problem with teh bottle is with their teeth… but her parents have money enough to fix them… if need it

  40. Meredith says – reply to this

    140

    Yes Yes Yes…too old!!!

  41. doodles says – reply to this

    141

Yes, she's too old. The bottle will start to affect her teeth.

  42. cindy w says – reply to this

    142

Technically, yes, most pediatricians would say that she's too old for a bottle. However, if you think about how scary it must be for a toddler to have the papparazzi swarming around every time she leaves the house with her parents… well, maybe the poor kid just needs a comfort object, and the bottle is what works for her.

  43. Elizabeth says – reply to this

    143

Yep. Somebody give that kid a sippy cup!

  44. rolo says – reply to this

    144

She should have transitioned to a sippie cup at 12 months and started drinking out of a regular cup by now!

  45. Sharon says – reply to this

    145

It's ridiculous! By 15 months the dr's say kids should be off the bottle. She probably had a pacifier too! There is nothing weirder than seeing a toddler with a pacifier in it's mouth. It's all on the parents to take the bottle away!

  46. yea yea says – reply to this

    146

I really think tom and katie make a nice couple. Little suri is beautiful and looks like a healthy normal child. though i was weirded out for his past behavior i can definitely see how everything got taken out of proportion. i think we should just let them be.
and no prz, it is not norma to be on the bottle at 2 yrs old, but on the other hand, suri's parents are always on the run, and it is more convenient for adults to keep giving the bottle to the baby, and actually giving them real food.

  47. Christine says – reply to this

    147

Who cares. It IS possible that there is a reason she is still using a bottle. With many delays and impairments that are not obvious to the naked eye, nobody should judge this child. There are MANY kids who still use bottles at age two just because they want to.

  48. leece says – reply to this

    148

uh, yeah. Maybe its something with the scientologists. That wack job Leah Remini lets her 4 year old drink 7 bottles a night AND she's still in diapers. A child should be off the bottle by age 1, and if they aren't it should contain only water. I mean i've got two kids and trust me they have the attention span of a gnat. Do away with the bottle, in a week they forget they even wanted one to begin with. Seriously a child thats walking and talking with a bottle or pacifier is disgusting.

  49. sm says – reply to this

    149

there is no nutritional need for a 2 year old to be on a bottle, but it is not unusual and not harmful. its a comfort thing. once she gets to be around three the teeth would be a concern, and it would be harder to wear a 2 yr old + child from a bottle. considering the poor kid gets followed by the paps wherever she goes, perhaps she could use some comfort in the form of a bottle.

  50. hmmm? says – reply to this

    150

As disturbing as the sight of seeing a kid who CAN WALK sucking a bottle may be, it bothered me to hear on Oprah today that Suri refers to him as "Da-Da Cruise". Uh, what??????????

  51. Bottle of Color says – reply to this

    151

The bottle is fine. More troubling is the color of her hair.
    WTF?!
    5 shades lighter?
    This is just wrong.
Same goes to Ben and Jen's Violet.

  52. Flossie says – reply to this

    152

I'm so glad you said that - I always notice it. Both of my little ones stopped around 10 months, along with 99% of the rest of America's children…

  53. Worked In Daycare for Years... says – reply to this

    153

Not only is it too old, her teeth are gonna be all fucked up. Not like they can't afford braces though…

  54. MIMI says – reply to this

    154

em WHY THE HELL IS SHE UP THAT LATE???????? IDIOT TOM, HE IS SOOOO GAY THAT BITCH

  55. Christine says – reply to this

    155

Yes, get rid of it after 1.

  56. akg says – reply to this

    156

Yes—it is just like sucking your thumb. Although it brings the child comfort–it results in misalignment of teeth and ultimately braces…it would be good for them to get Suri something else to comfort her–some sort of reward–like a new huggy toy.

  57. Tina says – reply to this

    157

how retarded, that's not too old!

  58. michelethebelle says – reply to this

    158

Yes it is too old for the sake of her teeth coming in…but many parents don't like the struggle involved with taking a bottle away from a child.

  59. lisa says – reply to this

    159

Yeah, you are supposed to wean them off the bottle at 12 months, that's what I did with my daughter. She is waaayyy to old, it's not good for her teeth!

  60. Denise says – reply to this

    160

She is still a baby. What's the rush on taking her off…maybe if these kids were allowed to be children we woulnd't have all these troubled kids!

  61. Alexandra says – reply to this

    161

Yeah, I've been thinking that for a little while now.

  62. mom of 2 year old says – reply to this

    162

my daughter will be 2 on the 18th of this month and she has been off the bottle since she was 12 months old and off the pacifier since she was 6 months. there is NO reason for a 2 year old to still be drinking from a bottle. my daughter will even drink from a regular cup (not a sippy cup) and not spill a drop. there is no good reason why this child is drinking from a bottle, other than mommy and daddy are babying her and doing whatever is easier for them instead of putting their foot down.

  63. WHATEVER says – reply to this

    163

YES she's too old, especially for the bottles with the bags. That's so babies don't get air bubbles for christ sake. Oh well, he makes enough money for her braces she's gonna need. Just gotta have that ZENU juice.

  64. erin says – reply to this

    164

Don't take this the wrong way Perez-I love you, but stick to what you know-juicy gossip. Asking your readers about whether or not she should be drinking from a bottle is a little silly-even for you. Some kids have a hard time giving it up-mine did. It's not the end of the world for a 2 year old to have a bottle.

  65. Cletus says – reply to this

    165

Re: Stanford Child Dev Professor – Don't you have important research to be doing instead of reading this gossip site? Leave this to the losers and dummies, and get to work!

  66. shaaaa says – reply to this

    166

yup. The bottle needs to be gone right around the 12 month mark. She probably still has a paci too. I can't stand it when parents don't wean their kids off at a normal age

  67. Chickie says – reply to this

    167

at that age, it's more of a security thing. lord knows she needs the security. can't be easy growing up with an alien father.

  68. wewew says – reply to this

    168

typically, yes it is. but, who are you to criticize how another child should be raised?

  69. gross says – reply to this

    169

a day over 1 year is too old . gross.

  70. Sonya says – reply to this

    170

She'll probably still be wearing diapers in Kindergarden.

  71. leoangel says – reply to this

    171

Not only is that a good question but the other is why in the heck is she sucking from a latex nipple? Silicon nipples are recommended due to allergies to latex and possible cancer theories…

  72. Lillox says – reply to this

    172

Way too old for a bottle!!! I bet its still breast milk too!!!!

  73. Julie says – reply to this

    173

Yes way to ol my kid stopped using a bottel around ten months old and so did all my sisters kids……

  74. ks says – reply to this

    174

Absolutely not. Why in the world is everyone in such a hurry for children to grow up? If Suri wants to drink out of a bottle — let her, I say!!!!! I let my kids give it up when they were ready (actually around 2), and they just stopped on their own, without any fuss and without resorting to thumbsucking, etc. Children are not allowed to be kids anymore. I believe childhood should last as long as possible and milestones like this are achieved at different ages — one size does not fit all. And, what does it matter what the we think? I'm sure Tom and Katie are doing a wonderful job of raising that child and everyone needs to get the heck off their backs! Good lord.

  75. Jac says – reply to this

    175

At least they can afford to get her baby dentures when her teeth fall out from bottle rot….

  76. kristin says – reply to this

    176

I have twin sons that will be two soon. Their pediatrician insisted that I take them off the bottle by 11 months. Suri should be using sippy cups.. not bottles. that's kinda.. weird.

  77. Princess Cut Diamonds says – reply to this

    177

I think a bottle is fine but she should probably start transitioning to a sippie cup. But compared to the lady overseas who was breastfeeding her child that was EIGHT YEARS OLD??? Yeah, a bottle doesn't seem so bad.

  78. madfan30 says – reply to this

    178

no its fine . if that was a pacifier then i would be like ummm.

  79. Jane says – reply to this

    179

What, are you a parenting expert now? First pregnancy (is Nicole Kidman really pregnant? She should look bigger!) and now child development. No, children have an instinctual desire to suck until 3 or so. Leave the kid alone.

  80. jen says – reply to this

    180

Definitely too old to be on a bottle like that! 1 year tops! dumb celebrities…

  81. clh81 says – reply to this

    181

Yes! My son hasn't drank from a bottle since he was 6 months old, she is way too old. Sucking on a bottle at her age can make her teeth have an over bite.

  82. Donna Martin says – reply to this

    182

it is not..what a dumb question.

  83. *wicky* says – reply to this

    183

yep. sippy cups are so prevalent that they should be weaning her off that bottle by now. but then again, it's not as bad as 4 yr olds running around with binkies (aka pacifiers)

  84. Liddy says – reply to this

    184

Before you all start judging, how many of you are parents? I doubt you all are and until you have a child who's comfort item is a bottle you should hush. If she was carrying a teddy bear or a blanket this wouldn't be an issue so drop it.

  85. Lolita says – reply to this

    185

    YES!!!

  86. caroline says – reply to this

    186

kinda old but not that bad.

  87. Heck yea... says – reply to this

    187

OMG that is way to old for a bottle. My daughter got sippee cups at 10 months and by 1 she never had a bottle ever again. Why can't they give her a sippee cup??????????????????????? And why do they always give her milk?????????????? That's going to rott her teeth if she doesn't brush before bed. Bad parenting

  88. Ashley says – reply to this

    188

    Shes way past due
my daughter was started on a sippy cup at her first birthday…suri is gonna need some braces =p

  89. ronda says – reply to this

    189

Yes she is too old she should be on a sippy cup and out of diapers too! They live on another planet.

  90. Jane says – reply to this

    190

Re: Lillox – What do you think is wrong with a 2-year-old breastfeeding? Cow's milk is OK for little people but people milk is off limits?

  91. Kate says – reply to this

    191

WHO CARES? As long as she's not with diapers in Kindergarten (lol)

  92. Katy says – reply to this

    192

Re: Cazzzyyy – You're right. Scientology believes that children should be treated as adults, and thus allowed to make their own decisions. That's why Leah Remini's kid is 4 years old and refuses to get out of diapers or stop drinking from a bottle.

I'm sure this philosophy will produce well-behaved children.

  93. Jssss86 says – reply to this

    193

Bottle: fine. When people still breastfeed their children past 1 year, that's weird…

  94. kayln says – reply to this

    194

i have been wondering about that for a WHILE. they should've taken the bottle from her a long time ago!!! they're over-indulging her already!

  95. CARO says – reply to this

    195

    not sure!maybe she like bottle

  96. Raisa says – reply to this

    196

I'm pretty sure it's fine. While walking around in the public eye with paps everywhere, it's not that easy for a two year old to drink from a cup. Plus all the attention probably scares her and she needs to be soothed.

  97. XENU TO YOU TOO BOO BOO says – reply to this

    197

…….THAT IS "NOT" A BABY BOTTLE……… IT IS A CLEVERLY DISGUISED "ANTI-THETAN ENZYME DISPERSION UNIT" AND WAS SPECIALLY DESIGNED AND APPROVED BY THE "GALACTIC FEDERATION" TO PROTECT THEIR FUTURE QUEEN………. TOM IS NOW THEIR "QUEEN"!

OH……..THEY ARE NOW TRYING TO WORK ON A DISPENSER THAT IS MORE AGE APPROPRIATE. THEY INTEND TO REPLACE THE BOTTLE WITH A BONG…….NO ONE IN HOLLYWEIRD WILL NOTICE THEN.

  98. lolo says – reply to this

    198

She is WAY too old, especially if you consider her REAL age, which is about 4 months before April 18,( her advertised birthdate) She was actually the love child of Chris Klein, not TC as he would like us to believe. Katie was preg when they met.

  99. Jase says – reply to this

    199

No, it shouldn't be a solid fixture. They should throw in sippy cups too. But the bottle is perfectly fine to still give to a child up until around the age of 3.

  100. mkv18 says – reply to this

    200

no… my sister didn't stop until she was 4.
