Way too old. You're supposed to be off the bottle by your first bday. But, hey, if you can never say 'no' to your kid (as Scientologist are instructed) I guess Suri can do whatever the hell she wants. That's some good child-rearin'!
Absolutely not! it would be better if she were a breastfed baby, though!
Re: YesShesTooOld – You stupid cunt bitch! You don't know shit about anything! Why would you even say that. Do you think you're cool because you post on Perez? Well you're not! I bet you are some fat bitch in their little cubical at work. Working in some cold calling center! Aren't you?! Aren't You?! Answer me you fat cunt box. You make me sick! I spit on you and your fat mothers grave!
yes it is actually..my niece stopped drinking from the bottle before turning 2
yes, i think that, that is way to old. my daughter is 1 1/2 and she has been off the bottle since she was 7 months old and she now drinks out of regular cups and out of straws……but each to their own….who are we to judge other peoples parenting…
Yea, way too old. All my kids were off the bottle by 1. At the age of 2, it's bad for the teeth to be sucking on a bottle
i still believe Suri isnt Toms daughter at all and Chris Klein is her father, da-da Cruise.. my ass
God, isn't it obvious that child is NOT biologically his. Look at that pic: If she were his, with that shnoz of his, she would have look like a toucan.
She is a clone.
Who's the dumbass she just stating on solids. You must not have kids idiot. Kids start solid when they get teeth and around 1 they eat solid retard
That's what I thought too!!! My niece is a few weeks younger than Suri and she gave up bottles by her FIRST birthday. Weird. Can't she walk by now too??

What should be doing?? Sucking ass like you??????????
Pediatricians say that children should be off a bottle at 12 months.
…but it's really not the end of the world. The biggest problem is bottle rot.
My son is coming up on two and he drinks a bottle in the morning and at night. he uses a sippy cup during the day. My peditrician says it's fine as he needs the nutrition from the milk. He won't drink milk any other way. And who's business is it anyway!
Yes, this is most definitely too old to be drinking from a bottle. Sippy cups and bottles delay learning to properly drink and swallow, which are precursers to normal speech. Talk to any speech pathologist and they will tell you this is a BAD thing.
I've been thinking that for a year now!
my daughter was born the day before Suri on the 17th, and the doctor said to stop around 15-16 months
No, little kids have to have safety cups because they spill their drinks all the time and if they tilt the cups, the drink will link all over them. Bottles like these prevent that from happening. But maybe she could geta kids cup that you place special plugs on the bottom of the lid. This is a cup for kids who are older that will also prevent spillage.
I guess Tomkat has plenty of money for dental and orthodontic bills because those bottles are going to damage her teeth
You people are idiots! She's not to old for a bottle. She probably drinks from a cup at home but take a bottle for her when they go out….. like LOTS of ppl do..
Grow up!! Is this really the biggest thing you could put on your webpage! you must be losing your touch!
i have 3 kids and 18 months was the cut off, per our peditrician, for them to wean off the bottle. kids can start using sippy cups at 7 months old and there's no need for bottles at 2 yrs.
Yes way to old. She should have been off from her bottle when she was one!
Suri is Asian. She doesn't belong to Tom biologically.
Yep. You're supposed to ditch the bottle at 12 months. It's SO EASY at that age. Kids could care less. It's idiot parents who are the problem.
Also, scientologists do whatever their kids want so if she showed any resistance whatsoever, I'm sure they just caved.
Perez, being a Mexican you should have no problem with this. I see little 4 years old Mexican's with bottles & pacifiers all the time. I mean why do we want our kids to grow up so fast all the time anyway let the little kid have her baba.
MAYBE THEY R STILL GIVING HER BREAST MILK IN THOSE BOTTLES?!?!
uhh yah…ok and all the people that did say it was ok is probably b/c they had a kid that had a friggin bottle forever..but the answer is actually YES it is too old and she should def. have a sippy cup..you would really think that Kat would be up on the "would be should be stuff" about kids. She could probably find one bad ass sippy cup and pimp it out at least.. because having a bottle plus the plastic bag kind, platex or whatever is soo newborn anyway…ha ha..I just had a thought.. shes probably still drinking formula thats why…. Anyways good Perez for saying its a "serious" question because seriously no one knows that crap if they dont have to..I thought that the last time she had a pic and I thought it was kinda strange because I thought she was older… Technically shes having separation issues would be what a lot of "Health Professionals" would say…
Its really hard to make a child stop taking their bottle if that is their security item.
most kids wont let go. i almost went to kindergarden with my bottle but my mom threw them all out and said there were other kids without bottles that needed them more than me.
Not to old to drink from Scientology's tonic of life.
search: crazyunicorns
Maybe the bottle comforts her when she is out with her parents and being swarmed by the vulturous paparazzi!
She just turned 2 and its normal that she is still on the bottle. They should be off of the bottle by age 3… she probably already uses a sippy cup but for milk the simplest form is the bottle. A pediatrician will recommend u start taking the bottle away more and more around 2 and a half years old so that by age 3 they are completely off of it. Its NORMAL, shes still pretty small.
I did it ’till i was 8. i'm normal. hahahahahahaha
By 2 it is harmful to the child's tooth heath as well as the palate to be using a bottle. She should be weaned off that by now. You'd think they'd have all the "best" doctors and dentists on call for Suri that would advise them about this. Yikes!
not old enough.
Yes she is too old, but it's her parents decision. If they want to mess up her teeth that their problem, not ours.
Yes, She's also too old for sippy cups. If she doesn't learn to drink out of a regular cup, she's likely to have speech delays.
Yes…yes, a thousand times yes!!!!
I will tell you why a 2 year old still drinks out of a bottle or still has a binky - because the parents are too lazy to deal with the 3 days of crying that will result in taking it away. I'm a mom so I know what I'm talking about. My theory is this: these hollywood children are left in the care of a nanny or perhaps even relatives who are not going to step in and take a bottle or a pacifier away from a kid because it's not their responsibility - there is no consistency in the lives of these kids because of what their parents do for a living (although in Katie's case, what exactly does she do except shop and travel) and therefore, having one person perform the same task (such as taking a bottle away) is not an option because they are with different people every day. They say it takes 3 days to break or change a habit and I find that to be true - no one is around for 3 days straight with this poor kid. I will be the first to wager that the kid will have bottle rot and braces before you know it.
No, No a thousand times NO! Tom himself, for example, is STILL on the bottle.
'Course in his case he just likes something pink & purple in his mouth to suck on.
Do they ever let her walk or take her anywhere not wrapped in a blanket?
Nah, my kids almost 3 and she still drinks from a bottle. Wish she would give it up, but it's not unheard of.
Common PEREZ & most people posting, it must be a really slow news day when theres no better story out there than to once again pick on Suri. Who gives a shit how long she stays on the bottle its not hurting anyone, she seems perfectly healthy to me. Most people posting how she shouldn't be on the bottle sound so fucking stupid. why dont you ask yourself if its healthy, to smoke, drink, watch porn, drive over the speed limit, color your hair pink, cheat on your significant other which I'm sure everyone posting on this site is guilty of at least one of those things. But fuck no we rather criticize Tom Cruise again because talking stupid shit about someone who I see does no harm to anyone is better than looking at our own lives. Funny how the Cruises are always bashed when seriously I've yet to know of them to do anything wrong, but yet brangelina is looked upon like saints. GO FUCKING FIGURE
Kids should be drinking from a cup without a lid by that age. It's terrible for the teeth for them to have a bottle or a pacifier by that age. Leah Remini's daughter is still doing that at age 4 though so maybe it's a crazy Scientology thing.
She is too old to be drinking a bottle…. baby bottle decay. Don't let your babies drink milk like that, she probably sleep with a bottle too… milk has sugar and sugar rots baby teeth. But, I guess they CAN pay for a baby set of dentures…
Not your kid, not your call. Unless you were in the room pushing on Tom's ass cheeks while they were conceiving that child, you and everyone else in the world do not get a say in how she's raised or whether she should still be drinking from a bottle.
yes and no. my kid just got off the bottle a month ago at 2 1/2. sometimes its not so easy!
to old in my opinion, but it is only my opinion. you know, she may drink out of a sippy at home, but bottles are a little less messy when you are out and about
Well maybe she has the bottle because she is out of the house and this is the only way to keep here quiet and hydraded…….
Who knows what she uses at home..
Until you have kids of your own, keep your trap shut and your judgements to yourself. I have a perfectly well-adjusted boy that age who happens to find comfort in a small bottle once a day and I find no problem with that. And he's not stalked by paps all day, either. Poor girl, leave her alone.
If my husband was wearing that beautiful suit, I'd give my kid a bottle to drink out of just to protect the clothes.
But really who cares if she still drinks from a bottle.
Hey Perez,
Well as an expert…I am a pediatric developmental therapist…YES it is too old to be using a bottle…Children should give up their bottle at the latest by two years of age.
NO no no no! its not!
a child shud get off the bottle at late 3yrs…
if suri is 4 and still suckin that thing, then u can mock her….
Nah! My son finally stopped at two. If it comforts her and doesn't contain sugar so be it. My son is now a bright, secure happy eight year old with no cavities. I also got really tired of old ladies (can you say MONSTERINLAW) or people without kids telling me how to raise my kids.
well by 2 years old, kids should only need a bottle if they are going to go to sleep…..By now she should just have a sippy cup to carry her Scientology Milk….hahahaha…..
Not if its breastmilk!
Yes!
The only people who judge others small parenting decisions, are those that don't have kids. If she's still taking it to kindergarten, that's too old. Why force her to grow up. Let her be a two year old. She'll give it up when she's ready.
Stick to commenting on what you know Perez. Like celebrity hairstyles and clothing. When you all have kids then you can judge.
Make remarks bout her father but not the poor child! It's completely fine!!!
of course! that's what you call "lazy parents."
Bottles done by one! What's in that cocktail?
Yes it is too old. I saw a picture the other day and thought the same thing. I work for a very well known pediatric group and all of our doctors recommend being off the bottle by 18 months. I've been in rooms with the pediatricians when they scold the parents for still giving their kids bottles. It's not a healthy habit.
actually she only just turned 2 and it's common for toddlers to have a bottle once or twice a day until almost age 3
YES!! My daughter couldnt wait to start w/ the sippy cup- she feels all grown up:)
yes shell have some serious dental issues
no not really.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i own a daycare and this drives me crazy.. let it go… they should be on a sippy cup @ 2. scientology is making her do it.
That's Tom's bottle. Katie won't let him use her nipples.
who are you to say anyone is too old be sucking on anything???
YES.. They say by 18 months old, or it could cause cavities and it's just not healthy, it's a sign of very lazy parenting!!!
Maybe this is how they deal with Post Pardom Depression…..let the kid have the bottle so Mommy doesnt' go more crazy with the screaming and crying….GENIUS……sign me up for that Sciontolcrap!!! haha
SAD!!!!!
stop picking on the kid, so what if she drinks from a bottle still…. As a parent , you do what is best and suited foe your child…Perez love ya but when u start looking into what kids do or dont do…. HATE IT!!!!stop being a old whining Bitch…so gay of you!!!!!
No one has ever gone to college drinking a baby bottle. It's fine. My boy had one until almost 4. Then he gave it up - no problem
you don't have kids so i don't think you can say anything about that sorry it's not your place to say
It depends on the child themselves. My daughter is almost two and uses a bottle for when she naps and sleeps because it's a comfort item to her. Don't forget that when we see Suri she is out in front of photographers with flashes and people screaming at them and she may need the bottle as her comfort item as that kind of situation can be scary for a child that young.
If this was a serious question Perez perhaps you should have done your research on such a subject before asking it instead of getting your lackies to respond to it. Most of them have never even been around a child so of course they are going to say it's abnormal.
For sure, especially if she's the genius her wacky parents keep trying to make her out to be…
No, she's fine! If she was four, then yes, that's too old. 2 years old is still a baby.
I have two kids, 4 and almost 2, and neither of them used a bottle past 18 months. They can both use a regular cup. Milk might be a nutritional boost, but it isn't required if she's eating a good diet and it certainly doesn't have to come from a bottle. Sheesh, the one she has is the kind with a collapsible liner, which is *really* weird. Is there a special Scientology Formula, like there is for kids with PKU?
The bottle gives her comfort. I made the mistake of taking away my son's bottle at a year. He walked around for three days. crying for it and then he attached himself to a blanket for the next four years along with two fingers in the mouth. Let the kid have her bottle as it means a lot to her.
Not really…
I sucked on a bottle until I was six…I know, that's really stupid.
But I also used regular cups.
I see nothing wrong with it. *shrug*
No - two is fine…mine has her bottle just for milk and everything else is from a cup.
yes, the soft palate is still developing and the bottle can stunt teeth placement
It is normal depending on the child. Some children develop at different stages; 3 or 4 is an excessive age, not 2.

I won't even go into what
her daddy likes to suck on!!!

i had mine until i was 12 or so, andim perfectly fine with it

She should have been off that thing after 1yr…
Her teeth are going to rot..
Yes, I think 1 is when they should stop….
every child is different mine daughter started drinking water out of a sippy cup at 11 months today she is 2 1\2 and drinks out of regular cups but still wants her milk in a bottle
Nope!!! I still sucking my bottle at this time in my life is a beer bottle!!!
She should be using, or at the very least, being taught how to use a sippy cup…
sad to say my daughter didn't stop untill she was 2 and a half! And I might add was one of the hardest jobs todo. Leave little Suri alone
i would think so! i have a 7 month old who uses a sippy cup!!
You should see what her dad's been known to suck on!!!!!
Yes…she is too old to be drinking out of a bottle…I am the mother of 2 girls and my youngest is 21 months old and she stopped the bottle at 18 months…my first held onto it for comfort…clearly this child needs comfort cause look at the way her Dad is holding her…has he ever held her or do nannies do it for him???…she looks liks an object rather than his child…sad.
Remember that bottles are not natural. Breastfeeding is. It's "NORMAL' for children to breastfeed up to four years (or sometimes longer) if you look outside of our own culture. That doesn't mean that is what we see around us, but in the animal kingdom, when themilk/baby teeth fall out is when weaning usually occurs. So, I think that it's not usual for a child in our culture to use a bottle, but maybe she is just following her natural need to nurse (and I'm assuming she is not still being breastfed).
My son drank out of a bottle until he was 3. He mostly used a cup after he was a year, but needed his bottle to go to sleep. And guess what? His mouth is not deformed & he has perfect teeth. So fuck you idiots.
2 years old is still a baby, you old fool.
