Nope, kids are all different. That little girl is perfect and darling and her parents should be extremely proud!

  2. lola mcnasty says – reply to this

    802

Wow, there seems to be such a divide on opinions on this! I don't think the bottle is such an issue, what I think is worse is that TomKat seem to drag poor Suri out late at night.

  3. Cinner says – reply to this

    803

Hell yes two is WAY too old for a bottle! She's got teeth to eat with, for kriminey!

Re: dr joan – I have a hard time believing your a doctor… You have know idea what your talking about…. She should go back to school and take a dental class!!!

Re: MmHmm – yeah, diptshit..it aint' breast milk.so unless you think its normalf for a baby to suck off a cow's teet, I am not getting your point….the only milk anyone shoud drink is from their mom…and then wean your self off…there is no reason in the world for our human children to be drinking milk from a 2 thousand pound, hooved and uddered being.

  6. Buffy says – reply to this

    806

No, 2 year old is not too old to be drinking out of a bottle. It is very normal. This is just one picture, but I'm pretty sure she eats solids and other things too. I am not sure why you are even asking this.

  7. Lys says – reply to this

    807

Thats a FORMULA bottle also! What the heck?? They usually start to wean off bottles by 1. A sippy cup would be okay, but bottle is weird–and formula bottle is creepy. Wonder whats being concocted in there….

  8. Sara says – reply to this

    808

Yeah, it's actually bad for the teeth that are developing, because it will make them come in where they look pushed back almost…they should definitely make her use a sippy cup now!

  9. sooverperez says – reply to this

    809

obviously none of you have ever had children- it is very common for children to drink out of a bottle at that age - especially before a nap or bed time and when the child is upset/crying. so, stop judging these people on their parenting skills- even if you have kids, she isn't yours so why do you care?

  10. jennifer617 says – reply to this

    810

NO way! I love you Perez, but you are off base on this. She JUST turned two! That is not too old! It really depends on the child, but I would say she's got about six months before she has to give it up.

  11. memee says – reply to this

    811

way tooooo old for a bottle, but,,,,,, the first child always picks up bad habits in the begining- the 2nd one you learn- because the dentist bill from the the first with the rotten baby bottle mouth cavity syndrome will remind them to TAKe THe Bottle AWAY at age 1- beginners!!!!!

  12. c. says – reply to this

    812

it's not unusual. three is too old, however.

  13. Idontcareaboutyou says – reply to this

    813

does it really matter? unbelievable that 811 people left comments - mostly that she should be off the bottle. here's a though - WHO GIVES A SHIT! get life and pick on perez. he is just jealous he can't take HIS bottle in public like siri…. morons.

  14. Kare says – reply to this

    814

Yes. Doctors advise you to transition from a bottle by one year of age - continuing milk as an important part of the diet but drinking it from a sippy or regular cup.

  15. ummm, why are you responding then? says – reply to this

    815

Re: Idontcareaboutyou – errrrrrh, why are you taking the time to respond to those of us who have responded…if ya don't have an opinion…but ya have so much time to tell others…errrhhh, what morons they are?? Hmmmmmm, mee thinks ya need a life sistah!!!!!!!!! Have an opinion one way or the other…but its really is MORONIC to take the time to express an opinion degrading the opinionators!!!!!!!!!!!! Be gone Moron!

  16. claudine says – reply to this

    816

Not too old. I have a 3 year old and gets a bottle every morging. And if she likes it, we'll go on untill she's 16.
But hey, this is France :-P ( welcome bratt and Angie!)

  17. amber says – reply to this

    817

i dont think so. my baby sister is 2 and she still uses a bottle sometimes.

  18. Monica says – reply to this

    818

It's absolutely ridiculous for a child that age to have a bottle. It's called parental laziness. No big suprise, they're so busy trying to convice the rest of the world that Scientology is the way….freaks.

  19. claudine says – reply to this

    819

@idontcareaboutyou: I totaly agree, who gives a shit! Can you see them giving Suri a drink in a cup while they carry her?
The only thing that's weird to me, is that the 'drink' looks like a sort of condom? I mean, it's is a kind of sac or something? Never saw that before, is that american?

  20. Hiedie says – reply to this

    820

Re: claudine – Oh, cool Frenchie…can you teach her how to wave the white flag too?????????? Cheese-eatin-surender-monkies-vous!

  21. MansonDust says – reply to this

    821

Yepp, way to old ! Her poor teeth..

  22. Christa says – reply to this

    822

I have 4 kids and one of them is the same age is Suri. For the past YEAR I have wondered WHY they are still giving her a bottle. It is bad for her teeth and can give her buck teeth as well. With them having so much money you would think that their family dentist would advise them of this but they ARE those weirs scientologest type people so who knows. SAVE SURI!

  23. Dalli says – reply to this

    823

neahhh…not to old to suck on the bottle…its just a stupid modern way where u are expecting kids the age of 2-3 to start reading…the bottle is a much easier way for the kid to get her tea/milk/water
i am sure they use a sip cup at home where she can hold it properly

  24. Christa says – reply to this

    824

Re: Stanford Child Dev Professor – You are an IDIOT and you need to go back to school. Coming from a DENTIST YES it is the bottle that also causes the problem as well as the milk/juice that sits on her teeth. The sucking motion and the way children will clench down on the nipple of the bottle will cause the child to gring her teeth more when she does not have it. If this habbit is not broken soon eventually when the bottle IS taken away she may start to cuh her thumb which is much worse and harder to break.

  25. Christa says – reply to this

Serious answer: it might be a little too old, but as long as it's not older than 3 I think it's still okay for now.

  28. JJO says – reply to this

    828

most def! my friend took her kid off a bottle at just over a year because it's bad for their teeth and such oh well guess tom just figures hell get them vinueres anyway

  29. Kitty says – reply to this

    829

Re: claudine – I wondered the same thing - doesn't look like a liquid in that bottle!

  30. Snickers says – reply to this

    830

Get that child off the bottle NOW!! She is gonna fuck up her teeth if they are not already fucked up! Makes you wonder about the Cult of Scientology. Leah Remini has the same issue with her 3-year-old daughter, who also still shares the bed Leah and her husband sleep in! Creepy! The best birthday present for Suri would have been a huge pack of sippy cups cause that's what she needs to be drinking out of!!

  31. Kat says – reply to this

    831

I wouldn't worry about the bottle—-what they need to do is clip back those flipping bangs in her eyes and face—so on my nerves

  32. Leave her alone! says – reply to this

    832

Why don't you all just shut up…She's just a baby, she can drink in a bottle until she fucken feels like it!

  33. abc123 says – reply to this

    833

You obviously know nothing about children.

  34. Mum of three says – reply to this

    834

No that's NOT too old. My kids drank a bottle twice a day until they were 3 yrs old. My pediatrician told me ther's nothing wrong with it. And much better than thum sucking!

  35. Jes says – reply to this

    835

No, it's fine as long as they are trying other things as well.

I mean..HELLO..you still suck on your mom's tit, Perez sooo..

  36. none says – reply to this

    836

She is only 2 years old people! That is not too old to still have a bottle and any one who says so probably does not have children. 2 is about the time you start to take it away but its not bad unless they are 3 or older. Ask your parents how old you were when you stopped drinking out of a bottle. And yes some kids do stop earlier then that but its not the norm.

  37. kristin says – reply to this

    837

Not too old! My 2 year old is still on the boob and plans to keep nursing for a while still.

  38. Jojo says – reply to this

    838

Its probably the infamous scientology Barley Formula, made from a heck of a lot of, as in faaarrr too much, sugar (corn syrup), and cows milk. They feed it to newborns - cows milk and sugar for a newborn. But their dairy allergies and thrush that develop dont matter, they are just psychosomatic, get your baby to OT quick!

  39. Aussie_Mum says – reply to this

    839

No! Most of the time after two my daughter had a cup, but at night she had a bottle.

  40. Melz says – reply to this

    840

Jeez Fatarse, you need to get over your oral fixation!!

  41. lady_marmalade says – reply to this

    841

actually, Suri wascarring a sippy cup(Red) for a while.
I guess she wasn't ready and they went back to the bottle. She's not that old though

  42. rumblina says – reply to this

    842

Re: Worked In Daycare for Years… – Okay….so you with minimal education working in the childcare industry for min. wage are an expert???? No. Talk with an expert Perez. As a pediatrician or person trained in child development. Her teeth should be fine. They're BABY teeth. Its if she's still on the bottle when the adult teeth are forming (which they're not yet) it'd be an issue. Whats of concern is her gums and not the formation of her baby teeth but cavities if they don't keep her mouth clean after sucking on a bottle. BUT when you have millions of dollars you likely are well aware of that by consulting some of the best pediatricians in the U.S. so I doubt in Suri's case its an issue. Its none of ours business. I sincerely doubt her parents would ever wish any harm to come to her and have likely had all the education on that aspect that they need.

  43. Melz says – reply to this

    843

Anyway Fatarse, who cares - you're still sucking on your Mamma's ta ta's.

  44. Melz says – reply to this

    844

    …and Teddy Hilton's balls!!!!

  45. The Teeth Issue says – reply to this

    845

Ah, yeah, she needs to get off the bottle or she will damage her teeth.

  46. rumblina says – reply to this

    846

SO yes 2 is pushing it a bit. Most daycares in Canada wean the bottle off at 18 mo.s but those are daytime bottles. Most pediatricians suggest the same. Usually the first and last bottle of the day are the ones that tots cling to most and its up to the parents to wean those. Milk has LACTOSE which is a form of sugar- and can damage the gums and teeth if a child is permitted to suck on it for long. BUT if they make sure Suri brushes her teeth and don't allow her to have that bottle through the night then perhaps they're still weaning her. What do we know? Her formation of teeth should be just fine as its her baby teeth not her adult teeth we're talking about here. But it does have plenty of sugar.

  47. JEN says – reply to this

    847

they should be off the bottle at age 1. It is very bad their teeth. yes they still need the calories from milk but that can be done with a sippy cup. It is not easy to break them because they are attached to the bottle but it takes patience and a few sleepness nights but they should be broke in less then 7 days and on a sippy cup. Its lazy parenting and for people that have nannys its very surprising.

  48. ashmiller says – reply to this

    848

Yes way to old!! They need to take that bottle out of that kids mouth, its not cute!

  49. Yuliana says – reply to this

    849

Absolutely!!! By one they should be drinking out of a sippy cup or a regular cup!… if she keeps it up she might just end up with rotten teeth!

  50. Greece says – reply to this

    850

My question is what is in that bottle???? It's not solid ….

  51. pixie68stix says – reply to this

    851

my daughter is the same age..and when i seen this..i didnt feel like i was the only person who had a kid this old drinking from a bottle!! haha!! soon hs ewill be off!!! hopefully…..

  52. a mommy says – reply to this

    852

As long as she's drinking more milk, it's not a problem. Milk is good for babies but some overzealous parents wean their children off bottles to cup at a such tender age and their babies just take less or stop taking milk altogether. Every parent know there is no hard and fast rule for kids. Perez, you are never gonna have your own flesh and blood, so you wouldn't understand, would you?

  53. kimberly says – reply to this

    853

It's obvious you're not around children very much.

It's very okay, very common, in fact it's recommended that children still be breastfed up until about that age if at all possible.

  54. melba says – reply to this

    854

How many of you people here have kids?
2 in not to old she is a baby for christs sake no matter what her parents dress her in!!

  55. steph says – reply to this

    855

    no it isn't
my sister is the same age and has a bottle too.

  56. Stacey says – reply to this

    856

Yes, 2 years old is TOOOO old to have a bottle.. If you people would read the books, the bottle is to be done by 1 year old..
It's freaking me out that she still has that bottle..
No, it is not FINE or OKAY that she still has a bottle!

  57. Please, Perez! says – reply to this

    857

Leave them alone to raise their child. She looks happy, healthy and loved. So she'll get braces — they can afford it… Anyway, you should talk, Perez — you suck on something bigger than that bottle every night!

  58. SUSAN says – reply to this

    858

Yes, you are supposed to stop the bottle at one and continue to drink milk from a cup. She is gonna get bottle rot

  59. Kasha says – reply to this

    859

2 is a little old for a bottle but on the other hand the kid probably has a rough life.

  60. k says – reply to this

    860

YESSSSS!!! I say this all the time when I see a picture of her!!! My son stopped a bottle at 8mos. He used a sippee cup after that!

  61. Robin says – reply to this

    861

Yes, it's too old to be taking a bottle!!!

  62. Jackie says – reply to this

    862

No shit, I kept thinking I was the only one who noticed! I'm glad you mentioned it. And yes it is WAY too old ( at least keep it in the house if your going to do it!)

  63. Jo says – reply to this

    863

What is in that bottle? It looks like a balloon? Am I missing something?

  64. linda says – reply to this

    864

i am so tired of everyone thinking its a competition to see who can ween their child off the bottle first, or totally have them potty trained…well i got news for all of you experts, its not a time limit game, when the kid is ready to quit, she will, you don't see it filled with soda like some of you all have done…i am sure they are good loving parents…let babies be babies…its not a freaking race

  65. Cat says – reply to this

    865

She's too old for a bottle, not old enough for a cup/glass. Her parents need to get her a beaker!

  66. drella says – reply to this

    866

it's no biggie, my 4 yr old sis still asks for one sometimes, I guess it's just easier to them.

  67. eden says – reply to this

    867

the bottle is empty, no milk or water, always…..
    that is really weird

  68. audrey says – reply to this

    868

WHY do ou presume to know anything about kids?
Stick to what you know. Sex tapes, bitch fights and outing people.

  69. lilia says – reply to this

    869

    Yes, absolutely it is.

  70. Susan says – reply to this

    870

Some kids are breastfed until they are three years old. The bottle is not going to hurt her. The only real reason I've heard of doctor's recommending to stop the bottle is for orthodontic purposes. They don't want to mess up your kids teeth. But, a lot of the bottles are designed to help avoid those problems. Plus, a lot of people need orthodontics anyway to have a perfect smile. The Cruises can afford braces. Who wants to be perfect anyway?

  71. tilly says – reply to this

    871

people in Hollywood have all of the money, but they can't afford a parenting book?? NO BOTTLES AFTER THE FIRST BIRTHDAY, YOU MORON OF A PARENT.

  72. suri says – reply to this

    872

Maybe Tom and Katie had been too busy to care, they'd forgotten to teach suri basic growing up skills. Do you notice how she's never really walked on her own two feet without help, either?

She looks like she's drinking cream btw.

She's gonna grow up spoilt and would probably end up running away from home.

  73. kat says – reply to this

    873

yes she is too old for the bottle aaannnndddd I can't believe that nothing has been said about that empty blank stare that child always has on her face! Either there is something going on there medically or she is in a scientology zombie state!!!!

  74. thetater says – reply to this

    874

Who cares it;s his kid not yours.

    you bitches are really stupid

  75. Pamela says – reply to this

    875

Not really…it wouldn't be good for a kid to drink from a bottle ALL the time at that age, but kids will sometimes still drink from a bottle every now and again as a comfort thing and there's no harm in that…nothing wrong with it.

  76. shawn says – reply to this

    876

leave his kid alone..he might be crazy and strange but the kid doesnt know it yet

  77. Leann says – reply to this

    877

That kid needs to be off the bottle. Its not that hard to swich over. They have all kinds of sippy cup now of days to make the transition easy. They should be able to afford them. My daughter is two and she has been of the bottle when she was about 17 months. besides its bad for the teeth.

  78. WTF says – reply to this

    878

yes. she should have a cup by now PLEASE!!!

  79. starboi says – reply to this

    879

CREEPY TOM GIVES SURI A PAPERTISSUE IN HER BOTTLE TO PRETEND IT`S MILK!!! Does nobody see that???

  80. Amy says – reply to this

No it's not, leve her alone!

  81. Tammy says – reply to this

    881

GET THAT BOTTLE AWAY FROM THAT CHILD!!!!!!

  82. sara says – reply to this

    882

It is too old… HOWEVER I can't get my daughter to drink juice out of anything else. Water, she will use a regular cup- milk or juice, she throws a fit. It's really n ot the end of the world but I'm sure they're working on breaking the habit just like I am. It actually makes me feel better to see pictures of Suri with the bottle. My daughter is like 2 months younger than her.

  83. JLS says – reply to this

    883

    Leave them alone… Geez

  84. Peep says – reply to this

    884

I have a 8 1/2 month old and you are suppose to introduce a sippy cup at 6 months so when you have to ween off the bottle at 1 YEAR it will be easier. So a 2 year old with a bottle is insane!!!!!

  85. dee says – reply to this

    885

hell yea she is too old, it is bad her teeth and language development. and do they ever let that girl walk anywhere?

  86. debbie says – reply to this

    886

i had been thinking the same thing. to each there own i guess. let her teeth rot out. sciencetology can fix it naturally right????

  87. jess says – reply to this

    887

I have to day I absolutely hate Tomkat…BUT…two years old is not too old to be sucking on a bottle, no matter what anyone says. It's this modern daycare mentality that we have now. Gotta get them off the bottle and potty trained ASAP otherwise daycares whine about it! When it comes to bottles and potty training, 2 year olds are still BABIES!!! If she has a bottle there's no harm in that. My daughter had a bottle until she was well over 2 1/2 and is 8 now with no teeth problems or emotional scaring. People are stupid.

  88. Frank says – reply to this

    888

Yes that is way to old!

  89. Megz says – reply to this

    889

Yes, my son is 13 months and he doesn't take a bottle anymore. By 18 months FOR SURE!

  90. K says – reply to this

    890

As a mom of two, she should definitely be weaning by now, BUT, if this is something she is comfortable with, kind of like a security blanket, they may allow her to have it so she doesnt act up in public. Could you imagine what would be said if the child had a temper tantrum in front of all those paps? It's been my experience that kids go at their own speeds, but all, most assuredly, will make the decision themself as to when the time is right and it will be like a lightswitch turning on. One day they will just put it down and never go back to it again and you are left to wonder why you got so upset that they weren't doing what you wanted them to.
The bottle isn't THAT bad, at least it's not a pacifier.

  91. Shawna says – reply to this

    891

Though it has become practice for infants to stay on the bottle until 18 months old now, it is NOT for a two year old to be running around sucking on a bottle. TAKE SOME CONTROL OF YOUR KID NOW SO THEY WONT BE A BRIT-BRIT IN 10 YEARS!!!!!

  92. steam smith says – reply to this

    892

i have been thinking that for a long time now!!!! she should def notbe sucking that bottle in public…at home at night maybe…but even then just take it away already

  93. Speech pathologist says – reply to this

    893

Yes 1yr is the cutoff they should learn from their friend Leah Remini whose daughter is almost 4 and uses one. Who is in control here?

  94. Teresa says – reply to this

    894

My 10 month old is already weaning off the bottle. 2 years old is just too old to have a bottle or binky.

  95. MAMALA says – reply to this

    895

Finally! Don't they take that kid for her well child checks? They tell you one year to ditch the bottle! Sometimes you do have to grow up a little Suri!

  96. bct says – reply to this

    896

according to every dentist and pediatrician, she should be off the bottle. According to Tom Cruise, supreme know-it-all, no it's fine. But not to worry, he has plenty of $$$$$ to get her false teeth when hers decay.

  97. Valerie says – reply to this

    897

My son was born 4 days after Suri and he is still on the bottle too. COme on they're still babies, and give them a break, they look like good parents to me not like some other people… Don't you have better things to do, than to pick on a 2 year old…she is just a kid !

  98. Becky says – reply to this

    898

Thank you soo much Perez! I've been thinking that same thing for months now!

  99. bct says – reply to this

    899

Re: rumblina – Why would you assume that tom cruise has any education on child development, other than from a scientology expert. He has lots of $$, that doesn't make him well read, well educated, or interested in consulting an expert who isn't a scientologist. my son is disabled and it is amazing how little training a regular pediatrician has on disabilities. And in reply to Tara, it is recommened that babies nurse until 1 year. Attachment parenting "experts" recommend waiting until 2 years. I wouldn't call them experts.

  100. becky says – reply to this

    900

they say to start getting them off the bottle at 12 months, but i think up to 18 months is acceptable. 2 years is waaaaay too old, especially in public! i could understand a bottle maybe at night to get her sleepy, but just walking around? outside? they must have known they'd get flack for that.
