A smiley Olsen (and a not so smiley one) attended the Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on Monday night.
This year, they didn't look so clownish.
Age and maturity does a fashion sense good!

i must say, it's really nice to see her(i'm not even sure which twin she is)smiling and looking all natural…she looks totally different from the other twin now, and she looks amazingly happy. it's a good change

The one Olsen always looks like such a ghoul with her white pasty face makeup and dark outlined eyes. For all their money, neither of them ever dresses classy or cute–just thrift store horrible.
smiles are so much more attractive! i don't understand why they frown so much when their smiles look so much better.
& as usual- All of the VERY SHORT men at the party line up to be photographed with them. That guy's legs are as long as my fingernails.

You diss Vicky B. for looking bad ( and she looks stunning), and you praise these 2 poor little skeletons! WTF!!! The Olsen twins almost always look like they are swimming in their ugly clothes and in desperate need of many good meals! I shudder to think that little girls look up to these two messes as role models. V.B. also looks like she needs a few more good meals, but her clothes are stylish and fit her tiny self.

The one on the left is MK not Ashley. MK straightened up a bit after the death of her beloved Heath and has since gained some weight. She has a better outlook on life as well, smile more and live better. Ashley, on the hand, still struggles to maintain the gaunt look because of her status in the fashion world.
Is it just me or do one of them always look so sickly! Well at least one of them looks good

For those of you who OBVIOUSLY don't read enough tabloids: Ashley is the one in the black dress that's smiling. Mary-Kate is the one in the gold dress that looks miserable, AS USUAL, with her sunken in cheeks. Which is probably why she doesn't smile, she's afraid her head will cave in. These girls used to be so normal. Ashely is probably embarassed about the name her sister has made for them. But here's how to tell if it's MK or Ash: MK=Sunken in face, never smiles, always wears oversized clothes, usually with wayyyyy too many accessories, and looks more like a 12 yr old boy wearing guyliner than a 22 year old female. Ash=Full face, smiles on most occasions, normal 22year old female's figure, doesn't dress like a hippie 99% of the time.
Looks like the one that's smiling has gained back her normal weight…looking good. I think it's Ashley.
It's annoying because both girls have turned up looking quite normal and absnormal for them… It makes me wonder if they don't secretly want to be pretty socialities like everyone else… Love them, though.
