When he enters her apartment, the shoes magically turn to white.

What REALLY pissed me off about this episode was Lo's blatant disrespect for ALKALINE TRIO!!! And to think I used to like that HOEBAG!

it's spencer and heidi on this show that are fake. they have ego problems and need fame or attention to validate themselves because they have nothing else. lauren, lo, whitney, and audrina are actually just trying to be themselves. heidi and spencer are creating drama for the attention and to expand their 15 minutes. whatever your ego creates is not real and will not last. speidi will land face first in dog crap before it's all over.
Or how about when Lauren and Lo were outside getting sun and Lo's glass went from empty at the beginning of the scene, to full at the end when she said "all I want to do is shop". It's more funny to watch the funny faces they make when each other is talking. It's such bad acting.
Prez - Why won't Spencer and Heidi go away! They are both so awful! And they should just leave lauren alone.

I found a SECOND blatent mistake!!! While Lo and LC are laying outside, Lo is drinking from a full glass of water with lots of ice cubes. Audrina comes outside to invite them somewhere and the camera cuts to Lo making faces of disinterest - and her cup is EMPTY! Then when Audrina leaves, Lo picks up her glass and its FULL again!!!! The scene was supposed to imply that Lo could care-less about Audrina, but if its obvious that they are doing re-takes then it must be obvious that its NOT REAL

I don't know why you haven't mentioned the most obvious fake part of "The Hills"?!? There are two completely separate worlds with the show/cast. Take Spencer and Heidi for example. We know that the time on the show is close to the current date (LA fashion week wasn't that long ago). On the show, Spencer and Heidi are not together, but in public, they are always staging photo shoots to show how "real" their love is. Remember Valentines Day? If you believe the show, they should not have been together, but there is that very staged Valentine's Day video showing them opening presents and being very lovey towards each other. That's just the beginning to my rant, but I have to get back to work now. Thanks for reading!

I was a Hills fan ( guilty pleasure) I knew it was fake to a degree. What i took form this show is that what we saw was pretty close to what their lives are like,but not everything is caught on tape, so they do reshoots and edit the show to make it more dramatic. But after last night, I am ocnvinced that these people are straight up actors and not much is even real.
Like seriously MTV. Since x-mas we have seen that Heidi and Spencer are getting along and are still a couple, so how dumb to you think we are when you are airing an episode in May making us think they are still broken up? Common, we all know they are still a couple, there picture is everywhere smiling and being TOGUETHER.
Also, why the hell put that Las Vegas bit, when we all know Heidi dosn't even work for that company. It's just ridiculous now.

Heidi and Spencer are sooooo fake! They've been fighting this entire season on the show, but not at all in real life… hmmmm! Lauren's Birthday was on February 1st which on the show was 5 episodes ago… on the show Spencer and Heidi have been fighting the whole time since then, but in real life they were together on a boat sharing a Valentine's Dinner on February 14th (which Perez showed us) just 13 days after Laurens birthday!! The worst part is, they can't even act, they are so awful! I would much rather watch the show without them in it! And Audrina really needs to come to her senses and stop hanging out with Heidi and twisting Lauren's words!

I quit watching ever since the second episode after eagerly watching since the beginning of the show. I have quit watching because even though it's fake and scripted, it's badly faked and badly scripted. Wah-wah-wah. I don't care to know about who's friends with who, who hates whom, etc. What ruined the whole "show" is the fact that we know Speidi is still together. I think something better will come along. This "show" is dead.
