So they were in New York this morning, rumor is they are getting a reality show. It is not wonder they live in a 7000 square foot home. Geez, the latest kids are old enough to bring in $$$ too. Religious Beliefs aside, I am not sure how Mrs. Duggar is able to spend her adult life pregnant. Guess, We all have to have our goals. Congrats to them.
People - as crazy as it may seem the Duggars DO NOT receive government help, and besides that you only receive government help for so many children anyway, I think it's 3 and under in most states, that discourages crazy people from having more and more and sitting on their butts.
I think they are BOTH crazy, but when I saw them on tv I was amazed at how well mannered the kids were. They seem a little odd but not too bad! My friends have one or two kids and they can't handle them. Sooooo…..to each his own.

As long as they support themselves and do not use handouts, I think the only thing wrong with this is the burden it puts on their other children. I've watched this family on TV. They are a Quiverful family, where birth control is not practiced. The more children, the better.

I can't say the same for people I know that have two kids. Each kid plays both the violin and the piano, they built their own house, and none of them seem to mind helping take care of their siblings. Is it something I would do? No. I stopped at 2 kids, and let me tell you, my house isn't as organized and well run as theirs with the 19 of them living in it!

They don't get enough time with their parents and they are just made to babysitters and servants their whole childhood. #3 - There thousands and possibly millions of children already born that need homes.
