Seems Mischa Barton isn't too happy with her body image these days.
You know, she's that skinny girl with the really bad cellulite all over her ass and thighs.
And the cankles!
It's just weird.
But, now Mushy is fighting back. The former TV actress is lashing out against the paparazzi, claiming that the recent cellulite photos were doctored!
Why would anyone waste their time adding cellulite to Mushy's pics? We don't want to see her, regardless!
Mushy's rep, Lisa Perkins, is now working probably for the first time in months and it's to defend Mushy's "perfect" body.
Lisa says, "Those photos are doctored. I'm not saying she's perfect, nobody is. But they've given a 22-year-old woman the legs and bottom of an 80-year-old. Look at the shots that were taken shortly before on a beach in L.A. Did she develop all that cellulite in a couple of weeks? There's a lot you can do with Photoshopping."
Fartone's publicist insists the recent cellulite photos of her at the beach were altered by Aussie photographer Jamie Fawcett, which she refers to as a "parasite."
According to the rep, the photog is intentionally out to get Mushy and make her look bad because "she called him out for taking the topless shots."
To that, the photog adds, "I wouldn't seek to publicly embarrass her with nudity or health issues or body image issues. It is a shame that publications tend to highlight an issue that is not fair to a young girl. … However, sometimes these are the things that sell pictures."
He adds, "I'm not a perv, and I didn't intentionally mean to embarrass her. I don't just set out and start my day thinking I want to get any celebrity topless. I once saw Keanu Reeves dancing in the nude on a balcony with a girl and decided not to shoot them."
WTF? Why not????
He continues, though, "I didn't think at the time that anyone would run those pictures."
We're not sure, but it certainly looks like Mushy has a ton of cellulite to us. Trust us, we should know.
And what about all the photos taken by other photogs aside from Jamie? Are they all out to get Mushy as well?

So what if she has cellulite! It isn't like anyone else in Hollywood doesn't have it. They just spend thousands getting rid of it! In the whole scheme of things compared to most of the population of the country she is skinny, in Hollywood she is obese and that is sad!
it's photoshopped. you can see the blurryness where her legs meet with the hem of the dress….and her knees arent in portion to her body. she's a tall girl.

What a load of crap. I'm an Aussie and when she was here she appeared on our comedy talk show, Rove, and let me tell you she does need to tone up a bit if she's going to wear short dresses! She isnt fat, but her skin isn't "tight"!

The constant examination of women's bodies and condemnation for so-called imperfections has reached epidemic proportions in the media. No wonder so many women have issues with body image and eating disorders. The joke is that the "examiners" are usually male and below average in looks themselves, gay or otherwise. I feel bad for her tbh, being prone to minor cellulite myself. But the truth of the matter is, even if you're prone to it you can get rid of it completely by eating a strict healthy diet and exercising. I focus on butt/thigh aerobics and eat a diet mainly of nuts and berries, aside from dinner which I eat a nice healthy meal, it's difficult but worth it to not have a lumpy ass imo. I think it's cruel to go after her so much, cellulite isn't an age thing, it's a genetic thing, and even being slim you can get it if you don't take care of yourself. She should own up to it and sell it, doesn't have much else going for her, though her case looks extremely bad. I wonder if you have it that bad if you really can fix it completely without operations.

When the O.C. came out, I wondered who the captivating, willowy girl with the doe eyes was. I've been around a lot of years, and knew instantly that she'd be noticed professionally. Our society has become so tangled in the web of shallowness; genuine shallowness for some, but media influenced shallowness as well. Only 5% of the entire human population has that ideal, "perfect" body we all see in ads, movies, pictures, etc … so how about the rest of the world population? i totally agree. i have suffered with an eating disorder and reading this left me with a lump in my throat. and i know people would say "well don't read celeb gossip sites if you don't want to hear about weight", but honestly.. perez is talking about cellulite as if it's a rare skin disease.

I work out every day and have always lead an active lifestyle. I also eat healthy- all organic foods, and the correct amount- I have cellulite- I have since I was in 6th grade, and I am very thin. It's genetic. I have had major issues about this since I was a little girl, so of course I'm completely aware of it, and have done any and everything I can to try to help it- Stop writing shit about peoples cellulite- it is something that someone who has it can not control or help.
