This judge should definitely give Nick Hogan a harsh sentence! His willful disregard for the law (repeatedly) should not be tolerated.

just got 8 months in jail
i feel badly for him, no one meant for this to happen…
it's heartbreaking for both sides. but it was also the guys choice to participate in the car race. both sides should should take the heat.
I am glad he actually got jail time! He should have got the max of 5 years but 8 months will work. He looked like he was about to cry! Good shit
Poor nick i feel sad for him he is just a kid. I blame on linda and his dad they gave him everything and more and just look at the results. Nick should work for every penny he gets
8 motnhs in jail… 5 years of probation and 100 hours of community service… He should have gotten at least a year in jail…
I think that everyone is being a little too harsh. yes the guy is messed up for the rest of his life. But he is not without fault. He didn't have his seatbelt on which nick did and thats what saved him. And if anybody remembers how stupid they were in high school as i do, you know that the guy was prob an active participant in the joyride/race/whatever it was. I'm pretty sure he wasn't sitting there crying asking nick to stop. Yes, we will never know that now, and yes nick should have to pay for what he did and the decision he made that night just as the the other kid is paying by getting in the car with his speed demon friend drunk!!! Its not like he didn't know….

maybe i am wrong in saying this cuz i don't know all the info in the case but where is the personal blame in the case for the victim? he knew what was going on and that they were at risk cuz they were racing at high speeds. so why does this make him guilty of murder?
HOGAN DOESN"T KNOW BEST: Nick was aloud to run wild and drive expensive cars before he even had a license. He should sue his parents.
