DMX Arrested…TWICE This Week!

It's true — rapper DMX was arrested twice this week.
DMX's first arrest happened on Tuesday for wreckless speeding (he was going 114 MPH on a suburban Phoenix, AZ freeway).
And then early Friday morning, he was arrested AGAIN after authorities conducted a pre-dawn raid at his Phoenix home. Law enforcement serving a search warrant at the rapper's home found drugs and fire arms stashed away.
The popo had been investigating DMX for about 7 months — they had received a number of complaints about DMX's mistreatment of animals.
In addition to the fire arms and drugs, authorities found 5 pit bull mix puppies, which were taken from the home to an Arizona jail where they'll be cared for by female inmates.
During the search, officers report that the rapper attempted to barricade himself inside his bedroom. DMX eventually came out with no further resistance.
Time for him to go to jail!!!!!!

I live in Phoenix and as wrong as he is for breaking the law, he is the victim of a corrupt publicity hungry sheriff who will do anything, arrest anyone to get his name and police force in the papers, news, etc. DMX is the victim. Yes he was using drugs but those puppies are not harmed in any way. His mistake is living in the "whitest" part of Phoenix.

(Phoenix, AZ) After a seven month long investigation, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe
Arpaio says the famed rapper/actor known as DMX (Dark Man X) was arrested hours
ago at his home in Cave Creek pursuant to indictments on seven (7) misdemeanor
counts of animal cruelty and four (4) felony drug possession charges.
During the 3 AM search warrant conducted today by Sheriff’s detectives at the
rappers home, a number of weapons and drugs were seized, resulting in additional
charges of drug possession. According to the tactical unit, DMX attempted to
barricade himself in his bedroom at the time of the search warrant but eventually came

Unfortunately it seems that the rappers who make the most money and get the most attention are the "sell outs" who give stupid company execs the thug image that they want. I don't know if they think that ppl want dumbed down music about bling, drugs, and hos. - or if they want to make black people look bad. There are a lot of talented rappers who focus on politics, cool ideas, or make fun music that isn't always about the same boring thing. You gotta put some (but not that much, iTunes has some) effort into finding out who they are and getting their music, because ClearChannel and MTV certainly don't want too much good music to get out there. Dave Chappelle's Block Party is a good place to start looking for talented artists.
