My point was that lot of women go a long way down the "objectifying" path JJ identified quite willing and for many reasons other than look a certain way. I identified a few - like better sex for me. And I would like to clarify that I think it would hypocritical to say that wearing make up, dying and styling hair, shaving legs and underarms, getting mani and pedis, sweating in a gym for hours to fit into that dress is NOT done at least in part to look good and to fit a certain ideal, but shaving your crotch IS.
It seems to be very black and white for JJ: other things (I am presuming she wears make up and shaves her legs? no?) are ok, but shaved snatch is OMG OBJECTIFYING! I would imagine women do these things like going to the gym for many, many different reasons, like being healthy, but also because they do want to look good and it feels good for YOURSELF. It also helps with picking up men.
