Watch out Blair, looks like there's going to be two new bitches on the block.
The Gossip Girl channel just announced that it picked up a show called Surviving the Filthy Rich.
The new program centers on a Yale graduate who has moved to Manhattan, but nothing is going as planned. When her job at a tabloid magazine turns sour, she accepts a position working for infamous teenage twins who are filthy rich, and unmarketable, as far as their grandmother and upper-echelon colleges are concerned. If the Yale grad gets the twins into an A-list university she'll get loads of money that will wipe out her student loans.
Hmmmm….based on anyone we know???
This would've been the perfect show for the Olsen twins….10 years ago.

This is totally off of the book, How To Teach Filthy Rich Girls…it's actually pretty good. Hopefully they don't ruin it though!
This blurb sounds very much like all of those guilty pleasure book series I read….
reminiscent of "The Au Pairs" , "Nanny Diaries," "Devil Wears Prada," or even "Gossip Girls".
Being a fan of that genre… I'd hit it, I mean watch

i liked the book but it'd be a cute summer fluff movie (which the book was set in miami beach or something, right?) but not a series. next!
i read the book it was really great and it would be easy to make into a show because the writing isn't complex (sorry Zoey Dean) i'd watch i mean i loved the baker twins and it would be gossip girl on a different coast but i would watch a 90210 remake faster or maybe a show of Zoey Dean's other books the A-list

umm I know… this is a book. I never read it because I id't have the tim ebut I know for a fact it is because i've read about it. really does the CW need to adapt another nook to make a show. ALthough this is only one book not a series, unlike Gossip Girl

Dawn Ostroff is the dumbest person in the TV business right now… her precious "Gossip Girls" is failing miserably in the ratings, yet she continues to act like it's some kind of phenomenon and she is building her network around it! YOU DON'T BUILD YOUR NETWORK AROUND A FAILING SHOW!!!
She's so obsessed with her shows, that she completely overlooks other ones that actually do perform well. She cancelled "Everwood" for no reason at all, and now is trying her best to run "Supernatural" into the ground… stupid bitch.
I actually just got back from vegas where I watched this show and answered a survey on it. The show was OK and stars that girl who played the oldest daughter on Reba! On the survey I actually chose the title that they have selected for the show others were filthy rich, rich girls, etc.

it's a book called "filthy rich" that was written by the same author as the a list series. it was actually entertaining, but no idea how they would stretch that into a tv series. a film would work better.
