Perhaps it's time you stated educating yourselves a bit more on things that go on it the rest of the world. Get real…. America is about 400 years old. Your country consists of people from all over the world, and that's good. Don't talk as if you invented gunpowder or something like that. You don't have a history compared to the rest of the world.
This makes me proud to be Norwegian.

I am from Norway, and I think Erlend is a beautiful boy with lovely eyes, a really cute, modest smile, and a sexy mouth. He is only 16 and have the guts to come to this talent show dressed in the cloths he likes, and with his funny hair - and he just took all of us with surprise when he started to sing. Wonderful voice on a very special boy, so unexpected. To those who says that he is ugly, I think you might take a good look at yourself in the mirror. To those who mean that norwegian is an ugly language - I don't care. I speak 3 languages beside norwegian, and people who says such things normally don't speak more than their own language. Pitty.

I'm astonished at how many ignorant, arrogant people there are here. All countries have advantages and disadvantages, be it Norway, America or anywhere else. Norwegian people aren't any more ugly than people from anywhere else, and there are just as many talented people in Norway as there are in the US. Most of the people making aggressive, nasty comments won't have even been to Norway anyway, and the ones who have shouldn't voice their egotistical, horrible opinions in such a nasty, cruel way at all. Having visited both the US and Norway numerous times I can honestly say both countries have wonderful advantages (like natural beauty in lakes etc.) and disadvantages (Norway can be expensive at times, the US crime rate.) I think people judging either country here need to become more mature really =)

If you today all spoke Gaelich or Welsh, you wouldn't understand what you were saying, and you would be unable to communicate with each other! (hint: Norwegian humour)
Anyway, there are lots of (originally) Norwegian words in English, so thanks to us Norwegians, you Americans are able to understand each other and are able to communicate with each other. (Yes, N.h. again) So you cant dislike the Norwegian language!
