Kids of the 80's, you'll be stoked to hear this news!
The Weinstein Co. is going to turn Fraggle Rock into a live-action musical movie!
Super fun!
A new generation will get to dance their cares away and worry another day.
According to Variety, just like the series, the film will be populated by a mix of human characters and Fraggle Rock puppets. The pic will take the core characters Gogo, Wembley, Mokey, Boober and Red outside of their home in Fraggle Rock, where they interact with humans, which they think are aliens.
Stay tuned for the release date and more deets!

I LOVE FRAGGLE ROCK and especially the little workers, Dozers.. and the oracle called "trash heap" with the little rats … anyway, i have a 3 year-old so we bought the DVD of season 1– it's a little over her head, but she likes the music.. LEAVE THE FRAGGLES THE HELL ALONE !! these guys are going to desecrate the genius of jim hensen — may his soul rest in PEACE!!!!
